Terrible experience,don’t even think to go there.

I have had Dr. Segretto perform surgery on both my knees and have recovered exceptionally well! Amazing Doctor and physical therapy specialists. Would 100% recommend his professional ability.

if I could give no stars I would! Horrible place. Office staff is a joke. Very unprofessional, they call the day of your appointment to move it or try to cancel it. They did that twice with me. First time, the receptionist kept saying I needed a referral I told her no I do not. Next day I called my insurance and as I said it I did not need one. Had Knee surgery 6-9-20. DR Segreto did and outstanding job. One day after, I am walking around with much less pain. He was very informative and listened to what I had to say. Going back in two weeks for the other knee.

BEWARE! Terrible hack 10000%! Complete hatchet job on my shoulder. First he hit me with so many cortisone shots it rotted my shoulder, and then butchered me in surgery! Other surgeons have literally called him a hack and he is not well liked around here. Those ironic 5 star reviews seem suspiciously manufactured, just take a look a the spread and the opinions stated. Not robots but I sure as Hell could tell you I don’t believe they’re real/honest patients. Stay away or don’t but this is the honest truth.

No nonsense doctor. Did my shoulder and knee. Knee didn’t work. And had to get redone 8 months later. Completely different experience. Walking in 3 days rather than 6 weeks. Shoulder went ok But it’s not perfect after 9 months of therapy. Office is unorganized and hard to get a hold of. I liked doctor segreto personally that’s the only reason for second star. I saw the doctor 1 week after I injured my self. He sent me for an MRI. I made an appointment to see him once he received the results. The doctor was not available for a week after so I made the appointment. 2 days before the appointment they called to move the appointment to that evening. I was happy to find out what I did and how I can fix it. Just a couple of hours before the appointment they called and moved it back to the original date. Then later that evening they called to move it to a week from the date of the appointment.I got a copy of the MRI and it said I fractured my ankle. I am beyond mad. I am walking around in pain not knowing what to do to help myself. This so called doctor could care less!! What a jerk! For weeks I am walking around on a fractured ankle! I called my primary physician to get another orthopedic doctor since this guy doesn't care. Caution if you hurt yourself or break a bone don't call Sagreto!!!! I am very satisfied with Dr Segreto. He is an excellent surgeon. He was the 3rd Orthopedist I sought for treatment for my knee injury following a vehicle accident and the only one I felt comfortable with interpreting my MRI's and subsequently, performing surgery.

I saw Dr Segreto on 2/1/18. He kept leaving the room and as I was trying to tell him my symptoms he talked over me. He recommended an MRI which I had on 2/6/18. I was told I needed an ins authorization so I waited a couple of days then called the office and spoke to a very rude woman who told me she didn’t know she had to get me an authorization. I called today 2/9 and was told they got the results on 2/7 & maybe someone called and left a message. No! Never going back!

Dr. Segreto is an excellent surgeon. He is straight forward. If you want someone who is honest about options for treatment, he is your Doctor. Also, the surgery center he uses in Bay Shore is incredible. The nursing and reception staff are incredibly helpful and made it actually enjoyable to be there. It is the cleanest facility you will ever see.

My appointment was for 10:00, the doctor did not arrive at the office until 11:15, and did not see me until 11:50. He did not introduce himself and it was obvious that he had no idea as to the reason for my visit. My total face time with him was less than 3 minutes, He looked at xrays and told me he was going to operate. There was no examination, or consultation, no discussion of options, procedures, timeframe, or recovery. Stay away from this doctor, very unprofessional.
