Dr. Freeman L. Farrow

I/we no longer see him. I had taken my adolescent daughter in to see him. She has issues with depression and had tried to unlife herself several times (he said this was normal behavior for her age) sorry, trying to unlife yourself is not normal behavior. I had tried to get her on BC, labs for hormones and a refferal to an endocrinologist. Which he refused to do any of it. My child is now in a residential behavioral center, and we have finally been able to get her into a gynecologist. She definitely has hormonal issues (which her primary care dr could've ordered) and we are getting the refferal to an endocrinologist (which he could've done as well). We could've been on a path to treatment already had he actually listened to us that day, instead of assume he knew everything and talk the whole time. I will never forget the day he denied us any help whatsoever, i walked out of there angry, lost and scared for my child, even more so than i was before. Avoid him if you have any real concerns for your health or wellbeing. If I could give him - stars I would.

My dad was elderly. A very dignified man. This Dr was not nice to my very respectable father! He would not treat him we believe because of his age. I strongly regret going to this doctor. This review is for my. Dad

I have been a patient of Farrow's for the last couple of years and I have to say-- it has not been a great experience. Personally, I felt like he never listened to me. I began seeing Dr. Farrow I was at the age where I had to be accompanied by a guardian and during these times I was lucky if I got a chance to speak-- all of his questions were directed to the other in the room-- as if I was not there. I get it, I was young, and may have had no clue what I was talking about... And so I wrote it off. Then, when I got older I began going on my own and still I never felt heard. Each time I went to see Dr. Farrow he spent an average of 7 minutes with me (which feels even better when you have been waiting for 45 minutes) and I left the clinic disappointed and lost. I imagine that Dr. Farrow has an incredibly busy and overwhelming schedule-- to which I feel sympathetic, however, over the years I have had trouble accepting that as a valid excuse. A general physician should not devalue his/her patients statements and should never let them walk out of the clinic feeling angry. Yes, I understand that sometimes patients blow their symptoms out of proportion and generally know less than their doctors- but Dr. Farrows interpretation of this was anything but acceptable. POS doctor that does not care about nor listens to his patients at all. Completely dismissed my sister's medical history and told her that her problems were "common and no big deal" despite the fact that it's been an issue for 3 years. If you can avoid seeing this "doctor", please do.

My 86 year old mother was having respiratory problems, she was instructed to go to see Dr. Farrow ... I had to drop her off and wait outside... she was in the building for all of 10 minutes... Dr. Farrow diagnosed her with " A SUMMER COLD". Mom said he spent maybe 4 -5 minutes with her.. didn't listen to her lungs.. nothing. Gave her a prescription for CLARITIN and told her to get cough drops. Early the next morning ... I had to take Mom to NW Health Urgent Care in M.City... the Nurse Practitioner examined her.. listened to her chest, back etc.. immediately diagnosed her WITH BRONCHITIS. I'm a firm believer that Dr. Farrow spends zero time listening to his patients. I"m sharing this because I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
