Dr. Maenpaa, went by the book. He listened to what I said, took x-rays, did his manipulations and provided a diagnostic that indicated that he doesn't know what my issues are (but he didn't say it outright). He nevertheless and confidently sent me to rehab. Having had the issue for few years, I knew that the chances of rehab without appropriate diagnostic will have a high probability of failure. Few weeks later and few rehab sessions didn't provide any result. A communication with Dr. Maenpaa to further discuss the issue went unanswered. I will advice to keep away from Dr. Maenpaa if you have a sports medicine issue. His demeanor seemed clueless. His diagnostic was uncertain and the speed with which he dismissed me to rehab was indicative of a complete disinterest in non-simple cases. Stay away.

I saw Dr. Maenpaa for knee bursitis. He was awesome! Very compassionate and explained my condition and treatment extremely well. I highly recommend him. His staff was also excellent.

Had a consult today with Dr. Maenpaa to get an evaluation on my knee. He was very pleasant and thorough on his evaluation. There is a genuine sense of care and concern with his professionalism as a Sports Physician. I will be referring people to him in the future.
