Best Doctor ever.. .his diagnoses are spot on.

Fantastic doc, takes his time- thorough and knowledgeable

I don't like this guy; he's clearly verry knowledgeable but he can be condescending. I asked questions about my girlfriends abdominal pain because I'm not a medical professional and everytime he talks down to me with his responses. I prefer going to someone that doesn't treat me like an idiot for asking basic questions.

Doctor is great! Office staff is horrendous. The phones are constantly set to “the office is currently closed” you leave a voicemail? They never get back to you. EMERGENCY LINE?! might as well be dead. They absolutely do not respond or answer. I’ve called at least 6 times every single day. No response. So annoyed. Unfortunately I don’t think he even knows this is going on. And there’s no other way to reach him apparently. ???? what good is a doctor if you can never reach him? Doctor is great! Best Dr. ive ever visited

Dr. Oliver is an excellent, caring doctor who will listen to you. Honestly , the best doctor I have seen in recent years.

I have had Dr. Oilver for a bout 15yrs. He was very good now he is playing a game with my Health I have called him and so has Walmart. im on metrformine he hasn't called in my script its been a week I need this medicine. He is very unprofessional and I am done with him.

I appreciate how Dr. Oliver shows his knowledge & compassion in how he treats his patients. He listens to our concerns & appropriately educates us. He’s the only doctor that didn’t dismiss my chronic pain & fibromyalgia-like symptoms due to my age (early 20s). He ultimately referred me to physical therapy & put me on meds, which both worked & greatly improved my quality of life. Im forever grateful for his care.

Absolutely horrible experience. As others have said, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I arrived at the scheduled time and waited for more than an hour. Eventually, I got up to go and asked the staff as to why was there a delay. One of them gets up annoyed and says let me go check if there is a room available. She comes back and says there is. Her attitude was really bad. I decided to just walk away. This was my first and final visit.

Dr. Oliver is a very compassionate doctor who takes time to listen to me every time I go in. I drive a bit of a distance to go to him, and it is worth it!

ALERT ALERT ALERT: Do NOT visit Dr Oliver Garth (located in West Haven, CT)! He does not care about the well being of his patients. He does NOT care about you even if you are sick or dying!!

After a knee injury that he did little to nothing for, ( I ended up in a brace and wheelchair for over 6 months waiting for my MRI. Then when they found nothing. Dr.Oliver did all but shrug his shoulders at me offering no alternative. So I stayed in brace until I could walk again. On my own.)... I was scared that he didn't have my best interest in mind... Then I started having this new medical issue and didn't want to go to him. For fear he would brush me off. Well yesterday I was having another attack and had been to the hospital. I reluctantly, called his emergency line clearly upset with a fever, sweating and severe nausea that the hospital can not figure out.. He called me and said he would look and see what he could do that he would call me back, he told me it may take him a bit to look up my file. I told him thank you that no one else has helped, thanked him again, and we hung up. Well... He never called back nor did he call in anything to my pharmacy. I hadn't been to him yet after my hospital visits, and I'll not be. I advise others to go to someone else. This doctor is clearly only interested in himself. I originally thought he was down to earth and kind but after my knee and then months of sickness and finally calling him for help he just totally let me down and even sounded very disinterested (on a saturday... God forbid you make a phone call) I am very dissapointed. And I will make sure others know that this doctor will not care about you or your failing health unless it's a cold. Thanks. Since I’ve moved to New Haven Ct he has been very helpful to me and has done a great job. Better than the doctors in Illinois.He is awesome and so is doctor Moore.

Can't tell if it was Dr. Oliver or the Office that failed me. After my first meeting with him, I had to go back 3 times to get the results of my blood test. Finally calling quest to get the results directly. They called me a week later to say medication had been ordered. Would have been nice if I knew what was ordered, what was wrong with me, or for the Dr. to call me back when they got the results. No intention of going back.

He is very involved with the patient. Very professional and carrying . Always there to help! One very good Dr. For me and FAM. The best!!!

Dr. Oliver is a good Dr., but his staff is awful. They do not respond to calls, they do not call back, or get messages to him. I am often waiting WEEKS for call backs and no response to prescription refills even from the pharmacy. This practice has been this way for years, the ONLY reason I stay is because it is hard to start over with a new Dr. after years with someone else. I hope this gets his attention so he can address the issues.
