While he may not have the best personality, he does meticulous work. He’s removed three cancers (1 basal and 2 squamous) from my face. I thought I would have no nose left after the last two were on top and side of nose. My nose is perfect. If I don’t tell you, you would never see the scars. I trust no one else.

He was the worst Dr. I ever seen. First of all they let me wait one hours and a half, and then the dr came to see i was trying to explain my case and he was so road and told me to “CUT IT OUT” , and he didn’t let finish. And he left the room later he sent his nurse to talk to me.

I waited for over 1 hour and he saw me for about 90 seconds. I have a history of pre-cancerous basal cell carcinomas. He whisked in and looked me over for about 30 seconds, then whisked back out. An assistant had to call him back in the exam room to show him something on my back. "Take a picture of it," he said and then is never seen again. I asked the nurse, "Should I keep an eye out on this thing on my back?" "I would," she said. Appointment over. Money please. This is what happens when you have only two dermatologists in a city of 70,000 people.

o my daughter visit just 11/4 2020 i really had to talk to nurse ;was the reason i went with her. 2 WOMEN FRONT DESK ABSOLUTELY FORBIDED FOR US TO SIT IN SDE WAITING (FOR SAFETY 6 FEET APART ) WHICH WE UNDERSTOOD,TOLD US TO WAIT IN HALL!!! so we did .I WENT 8 MIN LATER AND WAITING ROOM WAS ALMOST EMPTY AND I ASKED "AGAIN' if i cou;d sit on a COMFORTABLE CHAIR CAUSE THEY MAD ME SIT OUTSIDE WHEN I TOLD THEM MY SIDE WAS HURTING CAUSE CAUSE OF HARD WOODEN BENCH " I HAVE OSTEOPOROSIS" AND NEED TO SIT IN A CUSHIONED CHAIR.The said "sorry we cannot !!! AND EVEN THOUGH MY DAUGHTER WAS IN ROOM WITH A PA at the time and they still would not let me go to the room with her CAUSE IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO SPEAK WITH NURSE. BEEN WITH DR COX 35 YEARS HAS A PATIENTNEVER TREATED SO HUMILIATED AND DISRESPECTED HAS AN EXCELLENT CUSTOMER(PATIENT) WELL SOME HISPANIC WOMAN HAVE NO ETHICS ,WOW I WONDER IF THE DR IS AWARE WHAT GOES ON UP FRONT IN HIS OFFICE .

My husband and I have had quite a few procedures and surgeries between us with Dr Cox and his excellent staff. Yes, we have to wait longer than we would prefer unless we get appointments first thing in the morning or right after lunch, but then it’s not as bad. But his level of experience and expertise is superior. And even if he’s not in the room for long periods of time, his most excellent PA’s and nursing staff sure spend plenty of time after he has to leave! The team, which I love the team approach, makes sure you have nothing left unanswered!!! I highly recommend Dr Cox and his team!!!!

Have been there multiple times. Initial visit saw Dr. Cox for evaluation and the PA. PA has performed all my procedures and I have been very happy with the results.

Couldn't ask for a better doctor. He values your time like his own - which I value considerably. Incredible doctor that I couldn't recommend more to anyone who appreciates quality treatment from someone who actually cares about his patients

About ten years ago, at a follow up for having skin tags removed, the nurse asked if I had any other problems. I mentioned I had a toenail bothering me. I went in told them my symptoms which if they knew anything about cheyletiella mites I wouldnt be rudely disrespected. Dr. Dont like dealing with medicaid but some will take it. They took pictures of my skin issues. He comes in and no treatment, no skin scraping, nothing and says I may need a therapist cause he believes I have parasitosis!!! Lmao! Yes, even though I dont imagine things that arent there. Im going to go 2 hrs to come see you? Some things may have sounded off but I had the bites, the hair dandruff, the papules. A few weeks later my dogs are Diagnosed with cheyletiella mites. Infestation can happen to a human if in contact with an animal w mites. So, no I dont recommend him! I told him I believed it was from my dogs. He was rude, is claim was descriminating towards me, no heart! One.. do some test first before you say i have something I dont. Two, with all those plaques it shocks me he was wrong in so many ways! Three, this is the kind of dr that goes oh your throwing up again today and you still have a high fever? Very rude woman that answered the phone when I booked. I have met the doctor before with my son and he is very nice and did great. Someone should look into how these women answer calls. Almost called back and asked to speak to someone over her to let them know about this. She booked my appointment and didnt even tell me what time on that day and hurried to hang up on me so I had to call back and he ask what time. For sure the answering ladies need training on how to talk to patients. Very rude woman that answered the phone when I booked. Has taken care of myself and my family for years. Knowledgeable, caring and professional doctor.

Very nice, sincere and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what my problem was when no one else did. They are very friendly and accommodating.

Dr. Cox is a true professional.. always pleasant...examines you thoroughly along with his dedicated and outstanding nursing staff. I am very grateful for his care over the many years that he has been my dermatologist. Specifically, his surgical procedures are painless and thorough. He always explains everything you need to know and is reassuring. As I previously stated, all hid nurses are very knowledgeable and thorough as an integral part of his team.

I have had no problems with Dr. Gary Cox or his staff. He has helped me with a few questions about skin bumps or irregular moles, he has taken samples and got with me within a couple of days. I have had surgery without any problems, I did halve to wait; but that’s part of the process. I have BCBS insurance and had no difficulties. I hope this helps with making a decision. Thank you

The doctor is very fast when he gets into the room to exam, PA & Nurse does 90% of the visit. But I am a fast paced mom so not having to wait a long time and being seen fast was not a problem. My son got taken care of and he enjoyed the doc's fun attitude.

I met with Dr cox a few years back and I was very impressed. He was eager to help and really had a detailed talk with me about my skin issues. I had been to many doctors for a rash I had on the back of my leg and no doctor could figure out how to cure it. I met with Dr cox and it cleared right up. I travel an hour and a half to go see him and I couldn't be happier with the service of him and the office staff!

Be very careful using this guy. He overcharges on all procedures, and runs so many people through each hour he has little time to actually see his patients.

very little time to see the patient. then they refer you to another doctor. When i called back for referral, they refer me to another doctor. every time it is a different story. You pay 40 dollars for almost nothing.

I have found that he is respectful of his patient's time and while it is a hassle having to go to Victoria to see a dermatologist, I feel he is worth it. No false fears in order to make money. He is very friendly and talks to you, answers your questions and reassures you all at eye level.

Dr. Cox and his staff have been very responsive to any problem I've had. They are efficient, professional and have excellent skills in removing skin problems. I've been extremely satisfied with their care.
