This guy is a closer! My elderly dad was in Moses-Taylor with a variety of symptoms, including a high fever that just seemed to be getting higher. It was very scary. Tests were coming back negative and attending doctors were scratching their heads when Dr. Decker arrived on the scene, asking my dad specific questions about his diet, travel, living situation, etc., and reviewing his medical records. He had even done some homework and called my dad's primary doc. Within about 20 minutes he announced a couple of leading suspects, including anaplasmosis, an uncommon but severe tick-borne illness, and started my dad on an antibiotic as a precaution. My dad's health turned around immediately. Later, the anaplasmosis test came back positive. Dad is recovering at home now. Thank you, Dr. Decker.
