Great Doctor listened and helped every way he can!

Interviewed me careful to determine that my carpal tunnel self-diagnosis was correct. I am still leery of not being put to sleep for the surgery. Me big chicken!

After my initial diagnosis, Dr. Kronen took the time to let me know what he was going to do, and further diagnoses plans. So far so good! (Thank you!)

I have had hand surgery on both my hands by dr kronen as well as my husband. He gives you options, explain everything very thoroughly. His surgeries are easy recovery and he doesn’t make you do anything just for fluff. Today, my son saw him for a broken finger. Same awesome experience

Midamerica orthopedics has just gone down the drain. Between scheduling, not informing patients of schedule changes(while they are in office), waiting in an exam room while the doctor is running 2 hrs behind, not being flexible with patients schedules. We will be going some place else for better care. 3 different doctors couldn't help.

Dr. Kronen was very informative. I have to have minor hand surgery and Dr. Kronen took time to show me on my hand and also on the computer what it looks like He was very nice as well.

Paperwork was handled promptly, doctor arrived quickly after in office, explained diagnosis and procedure, surgery set up promptly.....all questions answered.

I like the Molina office setting. Had surgery with him a couple years ago and Will again next week. Recommend him for any hand to shoulder surgery

Dr Cronin is a true professional - dedicated and thorough. Provides clear explanations as to what to expect re the upcoming surgery . Saved my husbands life 5 years ago so I had total confidence in him when I broke my wrist

Great Dr! Highly recommend

The doctor was A bit short as far as conversation did not have any recommendations to ease my carpal tunnel symptoms and basically said surgery is the only option which I understand but cannot do for several months, so any suggestions that might help symptoms would have been great but based on him there was nothing. I do not believe I would recommend him.

Dr. Kronen and his staff are awesome. They go above and beyond to help you with your injury and with recovery.

Saw Dr Kronen a few years ago for left hand. Very Professional, personal, and clear about what’s going on with you. He provides a concise treatment plan. I highly recommend him for those who are looking for someone who genuinely cares about his patients and provides top notch care. Very nice, thorough and efficient

I saw Dr. Kronen today and he went over my X-rays and explained his findings and how he recommended we proceed. We agreed on a plan for my treatment and after cortisone shots fitted support gloves. So far I’m happy. We expect the treatment to take several months, but the pain is gone for now.

Scheduled and got in for the appointment very quickly. Dr. Kronin knew precisely what my condition was based on my description of the discomfort coupled with his examination. He treated it with a cortisone injection on the spot. He explained it would be sore for 24 to 48 hrs and then feel great. Again, he was absolutely right. I am now pain free for the first time in approximately 6 months! I would definitely recommend Dr. Kronin as he is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. Dr Kronen is very nice and has a great bedside manner and explained everything. He also listened to my questions and answered them to my understanding. I have had a procedure done by him before and I am returning for another. I would definitely recommend him and use his services in the future if needed.

Fair price, pleasant. Knowledgeable

Dr. Kronen was very detailed in explaining my problem and he gave me several options to help. If you want a friendly, knowledgeable and detailed Doctor, then Dr. Kronen should be your #1 choice.

Visit was pointless, I literally had a face to face (so called Independent Medical Review) which was more of a conversation than an examination! Myself and assigned case nurse were both very shocked at the brief time I was actually in the so called exam, and on top of that he wrote the complete opposite of what I told him in his final report. Not shocked because these Dr’s inherently work for the employer sending you to them. Very brief and dismissive with a pinch of arrogance. Stared at my tattoos as if I was a deviant which in fact is quite the opposite as I’ve been in law enforcement for close to 20 years. Contacted legal representation immediately after viewing the report generated by him.

DC Kronen who is the worst DC in the world. None of the star for him. He is horrible. He did discriminate to the new immigrant. He is very rude. He has never done professional job to his patient. Never care about patien’s life. If I would not give star , I couldn’t post this. Beware to choose the right doctor.

I have been coming here for years for my 3 children and husband. Their doctors and therapist are great but the front desk and billing staff are the worse. You see 3 staff members behind the desk and I am the only one in line and it took 5 min before someone called me up to check in, as she continues filing paperwork amd walking away from the desk. They are always quick to ask for my copay and every single time I tell them I don’t pay copay since my deductibles have been met and they continue to discuss this matter at desk while other patients can hear all my financial information. I always advise to call my insurance company and all they say is that’s bony what the computer system says and they go by this. If I am informing them of a change shouldn’t you verify it? even after requesting a letter from insurance company to give to them they still question my letter. Once again truly embarrassment to discuss this in an open lobby. If I am ever late 5-10 min they are quick to cancel my appt but I had to wait an hour to see the doctor for my son which made me late to other appt. And it’s ok for them to be late. When I asked what the tardiness was a staff member went to find out and never came back to tell me what happened. I had to ask 3 times for answer of there are no available rooms yet do to X-ray. And the front desk staff are extremely rude and act like they don’t want to be there. Their customer service is horrible and always dread going but the doctors are great which is the only reason I come. I am looking for another Ortho clinic because of their horrible customer service I have been coming here for years for my 3 children and husband. I met dr kronen approximately around June 11. I had fallen at home. I didn’t feel pain but my left hand was swelling badly and looked bruised. Actor a visit to emergency I learned I had 4 fractures in my hand. I was referred to dr kronen. I saw him within 15 min of my s heduled appt he had me do an X-ray at his office and confirmed the fractures he s heckled surgery right there for June 20. Surgery is done in the same office building. The staff makes sure you’re comfortable with everything. You meet your designated nurse see the doc and the anesthesiologists on your case. Then you get taken to the or and before you know it you wake up in recovery. 24 hours later still feeling good I met dr kronen approximately around June 11. I had fallen at home. Dr. Gary Kronen and staff are the best. He was a wealth of information to a long unresolved issue I have had for years. He made suggestions and we then were able to resolve my issue. Probably one of the most efficient and satisfying doctor visit I can remember. From the front desk to walking out of the office, the process was seamless and prompt. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The doctor was wonderful, explaining things clearly and listening to my concerns. This office should be a model for all doctor offices!

I developed an infection in my hand from my surgery Dr. Kronen performed. The specific type of infection I got is really only contracted through catheters which I did not have or bacteria that lives in an OR. Once i brought this up to Dr. Kronen he was adamant that his OR wasn't housing the bacteria and muttered "Wow I shouldn't have sent the culture out" and said that the lab must have messed something up which seems quite unlikely. I understand that there is inherently a risk of infection with any surgery, but the way he handled the diagnosis and initially tried to hide it from me was unacceptable. Very uninformative, had to see another surgeon to repair doctors mistakes

This doctor was more interested in the money he would receive from my finger surgery then my actual care. A week before my surgery, I was told to bring half of the funds that my insurance would not cover. I was also told that I would need to leave credit card information for my remaining balance. The amount I was told was more than double what my insurance did not cover, but this did not stop the office from taking multiple payments from my credit card. I waited 5 months for my reimbursement.

Dr. Kronen is a thorough, highly skilled surgeon who is also a plastic surgeon, this makes all the difference. I saw him for 2 prior unsuccessful surgeries not done by him. I was not sure if anything could be done. Dr. Kronen did the 3rd surgery and it was a complete success! My surgical experience with him was like no other, top notch! I work in the medical field and have nothing but respect and gratitude for Dr. Kronen. Thanks to him my hand is the best it's been in the past 2 years!!

The girls at the front desk appear to be miserable...this is the first point of contact. I don't feel Dr Kronen had my best interest at heart. "Surgeons like to do surgery" stated so by the pt dept. At Mid America in Palos. Wish I would of went with my PCP first recommendation on who to see. I do not recommend Mid America Orthopedics.

I had trigger thumb release surgery and Dr Kronen was on time, very professional, great bed side manners. The staff was excellent at Palos Surgery Center. The office and surgical center was beautiful.

Dr. Kronen has been my treating physician for a mallet finger. Various treatment and surgery techniques were used to attempt to restore my finger to full functional capacity.
