Dr. Gary F Strebel

I have never been treated worse by a doctor than I was by Dr. Gary Strebel and his staff. He had the worst bedside manner, was outright dismissive of my issues and blamed everything on my weight instead of performing a single test. His attitude was horrible, he acted like he was doing me a favor by showing up, and Instead of answering me, would speak to his nurse. I went elsewhere and wound up having surgery to address the issue that Dr. Gary Strebel and his staff ignored. I spent hundreds to be ignored and treated like trash.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gary Strebel for 20 years. I’m not sure why!!! I felt like I had a moral obligation to the rest of the women in Oklahoma to leave this review and photos. Everytime I see Dr. Stebel I leave his office feeling unheard, abused, and angry. It will be my final appointment in that office. He called one of his daughter’s in during my appointment and asked her to examine me, she did not. However, she was as dismissive and rude as her father. Dr. Strebel’s nurse was the only medical professional I encountered that actually showed some concern and compassion. The office staff made an appointment to see Dr. Strebel’s daughter in the future. No thank you! The appointment I had with him last week was the icing on the cake. I have been having severe pain and have had ovarian cyst in the past. They put me in his ultrasound room. While we waited for the doctor to come into the room I started looking at the ultrasound machine. The toilet in my bathroom is cleaner than this medical device. It was appalling. Then the excuses Dr. Strebel made for this disgusting machine was unacceptable. He tells me they don’t clean that stuff, the cleaning staff does, and that I should see their carpet. I said “you are not going to put the carpet inside of me”. It didn't phase him. He proceeded to be argumentative with me and hurt me so badly during the exam it has taken me 5 days to recover. I read the other reviews left by Dr. Strebel’s patients. Everything they stated is absolutely, 100% accurate. Every interaction with Dr. Strebel leaves me feeling traumatized!!!! I have been a patient of Dr. Strebel’s for over 30 years. He identified & did surgery for my breast cancer, referred me for cancer treatments & I have been cancer free for 25 yrs. He is an expert & very caring with his patients. He helped me thru endometriosis also. He will spend time with you & doesn’t rush out the door when you have an appointment with him. i'm too old to need an OB-GYN. Thanks to Dr. Strebel, I have a child that 3 other doctors said I could not have. Thanks to Dr. Strebel, I have survived 2 reproductive cancers and made it to a healthy 75 years. He made it possible for me to conceive and have my only baby when I was almost 40 years old, and he is her OB-GYN today. The only OKC doc whose ethics and knowledge and skills I completely trust is Gary F. Strebel, MD.

I’ve seen Dr Strenel for 38 years. He is the most ethical and most skilled Dr. I know. 5 Dr ‘s told me I’d never have a baby. It took Dr Strebel 5 minutes to find the issue. I am a mother and a grandmother - he delivered all of them.

Kind, Gentle, Caring doctor. He has a great bed side manner. He also explains everything to me before and after. He gives me time to ask questions and he is always there to answer them. I have been going to Dr. Gary Strebel for 39 years. He delivered 2 of my children. He has continues to be the Best Doctor I know.
