Dr. George Kralik

Save yourself time, stress, and money and never go to this dentist. After learning I had a few bad cavities, I switched to Kralik for an in-network dentist. I had two appointments with him, and he could not have been less clear about what he was doing or what was needed for me. I switched dentists to one much nicer that gave me a clear schedule of everything I needed, when the appointments would be, and an estimate of how much it would cost. Kralik did none of that and worse. When I directly asked him how many appointments I would need, he shrugged me off, saying we would take it one at a time, and I had no idea how much time or money I would be sinking in to just a few bad cavities (the bills from my two appointments were astronomical, much more than I ended up paying at the different dentist). He also doesn't take card, just cash or check. Here's the kicker—in our second appointment, he STARTED A ROOT CANAL on me without telling me, and after the appointment told me I needed to go see a root canal specialist, but didn't tell me the root canal had already been started, which is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. My new dentist was in absolute shock (as was I) when they examined my teeth and saw I had a root canal in progress. I cannot say I've ever had a worse experience with a medical professional. The only saving grace is his secretary/assistant, who, while I assume is in on this scam, is at least very nice. I truly hope Kralik never gets another patient, and if this review helps someone not go there, it'll be worth it. Find yourself a dentist who you can trust and is transparent with you.

I wish I could give this dentist no stars. Dr. Kralik referred me to an endodontist out of network who was trying to charge me 1200 initially and then came down to 850. I searched on my own for an endodontist in-network and when I found one and tried to get a referral from Dr. Kralik's office, he was very uncooperative and rude; he refused to provide my new endodontist with the necessary referral for my work to get done. Before allowing Dr. Kralik to do any work, I suggest you also ask for the price beforehand and also, he only accepts cash payments. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT go to this dentist. I have reported him to my dental insurance. I wish I could give this dentist no stars. Dr Kralik, is a professional, sensitive and patient doctor who was concerned with my welfare. He is friendly, informative and besides being careful in his treatment was also careful about NOT suggesting procedures he found not to be medically necessary.
