Dr. George A. Macer JR.

I met Dr Macer in an emergency room. I had been in a multi roll over car accident on the 405, and my right thumb was nearly severed. I was so very blessed Dr Macer was on call at Long Beach Memorial that day. This compassionate Doctor talked with me , and my mother and brother, before he even scrubbed in. He is the kindest, most compassionate doctor (and the smartest) I have ever known). I have lost track of exactly how many additional surgeries I required to get my thumb to be an opposing digit again. Physical therapy took place in a section of his office, which makes communication between doctor and therapist immediate! I cannot stress this enough, I highly recommend Dr Macer and his talented staff.

Made a next day appt although my in office experience was deplorable. Provided insurance for a pre-check of PPO coverage and downloaded forms to complete before the visit. Arrived on time, called after 25 mins to complete forms. Handed in immediately. Advised I had to leave by 11. At 10:50 I left. I hope you find another MD office that is customer service oriented rather than $$ oriented. Lose that front desk employee!
