Clean, friendly staff, great doctor!

I highly recommend this team of doctors. I broke both of my heel bones two years ago after a fall from a ladder. Right foot healed fine but left foot continued to give me pain. Started out seeing Dr. Tellam and he is a great doctor. He brought in Dr. Sorensen to the practice and I started seeing him. I could not be more pleased with his care. I ended up having a subtalar fusion on my left ankle along with ligament and tendon repairs. I am confident that this will get me back to walking with no pain. These two doctors work in tandem and make a great team. They and their staff go above and beyond what is needed to have the best outcome for their patients. Dr. Sorensen saw me every week for six weeks to have X-rays done and make sure I was healing well. Thank you Dr. Sorensen for your attentive attention! You rock!

Highly recommend Dr. Tyler Sorenson. I visited many before finding Dr. Sorenson. Knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. Need surgery? You are in good hands here. Had a bunionectomy along with a ganglion cyst removal. Presently 6 weeks post op. All is going well! And getting ready to get back on the tennis court! I appreciate all the efforts the entire office staff. My insurance was tricky…and the office took the time to work everything out in my favor. Couldn’t be more to thankful. All went above and beyond. ????

I received exceptional surgical and post-operative care for a bunionectomy, tailors bunionectomy, and mid-foot fusion. Dr. Sorensen performed the procedure and takes great pride in his work. The outcome could not have been any better. Also, my interactions with Dr. Tellam and the rest of the staff were exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Sorensen or Dr. Tellam to my family and friends.

Having suffered from foot pain for over a year a friend suggested I see a podiatrist. I found Dr. Tellam online and am so glad I did. I walked in with pain and left pain free. He is treating my foot condition with custom insole orthotics that fit my feet perfectly and are very comfortable. He has all the latest technology to diagnose and treat. I highly recommend Dr. Tellam. I had had been disappointed with visits to another podiatrist who recommended a painful test and over the counter products that were ineffective. Dr. Lorraine Dajani recommended that I get a second opinion with Dr. Tellam before undergoing the test. Overall, I was very disappointed. I left with no solution to my problem and I found a spot on my foot that may be causing problems, but the doctor never even touched my foot during the exam. I felt as I was not taken seriously, and overall I am dissatisfied.

I went to Dr. Tellam’s Office with a really bad infected toe nail. He was able to get me in last minute and resolve the issue. The staff was awesome and patient with me. Will definitely return if anything comes up and would recommend him to anyone for podiatry needs!

Went in for a consult for a bump on my foot which later was classified as a ganglion cyst. Office personnel were very kind and communicative. Dr. Tellam was very reassuring and to the point. Surgery went well and recovery was great. Foot healed up nicely and they made everything easy.

For the first time in a very long time, my suffering from Plantar Fasciitis has ended. Following Dr. Tellam's wise counsel, I have stopped exercising on 2 pieces of equipment which Dr Tellam told me were adversely affecting my condition, and recommended switching from using a treadmill to the stationary bike. Further, given how long I had occasionally suffered from Plantar Fasciitis, we discussed the advantages of eliminating the scar tissue which had developed over the years, and so I made the decision to use the EPAT (Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology) machine.

After conferring with Dr. Tellam & having undergone my 2nd of 5 EPAT treatments, I am happy to report continuing improvement of my plantar fasciitis which has plagued me for quite some time.

Went to see Dr Tellam after suffering with significant episode of plantar fasciitis. After in depth discussion of treatment options we decided to do EPAT treatments. After six treatments I had complete recovery. Office staff was awesome. Office follows all COVID protocols. 100% recommend!

If I could given Dr Tellam and staff 100 stars, I would. The office staff is so kind and personable. Dr Tellam is very thorough in explaining the procedure and follow up.

After numerous injections in my foot I required surgery. Very pleased with treatment I received by Dr. Tellam. I especially liked seeing him personally at every appointment. Staff is very friendly and getting in and out in timely fashion is very efficient.

Horrible experience! Constantly talked down to (definitely misogynistic) and constantly brushed off my concerns without being able to back up his claims. Told me the only way to cure my bacterial infection was to buy his expensive anti-fungal treatment (which he said insurance doesn't cover)... After several visits which typically run 45 minutes behind schedule my Mom was fitted with a brace for her foot that isn't stable. Verbally expressing my concerns to both the staff and the doctor which was dismissed by the physician. His overall response was "Think Positive ". Well after my Mom almost fell twice after we left I called back. Basically nothing can be done as Medicare only covers a device every 5 years. Therefore a complete waste of time going to this office. I had BIG Toe Surgery on the knuckle joint for spurs and both joints almost touching. Was in a boot for 30 days and thought after 7 to 8 months all would be great.. Started having pain again and went for visit and paid $500 for stem cell injection which they said would relive pain, IT DID NOT and toe starting to turn in as well. I researched and sought his surgical skills in 1994, his advice over the years for different problems and recently needed a surgery that relieved trapped nerve pressure, in 2020. Informative and personable, he thoroughly shares with his patients. Office staff are professional, courteous and helpful.

Overall terrible experience and left with a brace that increases my Mom's fall risk not helps it. Not willing to listen to family members.

Dr. Tellam and his staff have taken excellent care of me and my foot! With plantar problems and arthritis, I have needed xrays, analysis, inserts and even a cortisone shot. I was able to return to hiking and tennis this year, thanks to them! I need to remember to keep stretching out to prevent problems in the future.

Went in for pins and needles symptoms in my feet was told it was not neuropathy just to stay off my feet no running stretching only Made "another " appointment I was hoping to go in and get a physical exam and nothing was mentioned about what he had said not being neuropathy but was told waiting on biopsy so wasted time and money also tried to sell me foot inserts that would not have helped my situation $200 worth of X-rays were taken which never got discussed

Scammers. Clearly stated i did not want anything not covered by insurance. $700 later the told me the insurance company had decided not to cover the items. I got a report from my insurance company stating claims denied on initial filing. First and last time I visit him. To start of our first meet he states and I quote, "He doesn't have time." My inside voice thinking, ok you shouldn't have scheduled me or called and rescheduled but I didn't say anything. After a short and dreadful visit with his back to me he asked/told me I was a cutter. For arguments sake I will state I am not, what I am is a person that has earned her living doing some very meaningful work with animals. I am the veterinarian technician hope for when their sick, worried, or fearful furry family member has to be left. Some of the scars Mr. Tellam was speaking of were from a show rabbit owned by this young girl who treasured him, so how could I show him less care. I took those scars instead of chancing hurting the rabbit by adjusting my hold to include the one back foot. Some of the other marks are from the lions at a rescue habitat helping out. You get the idea. To be honest through the entire time of dealing with this man I didn't respect or care enough for his opinion to matter. Case was closed, I was going to move on from this flip flop selling man. Yes he sells flip flops he has in his waiting room. When and how he said "you're a cutter" totally floored me. My husband had gone to Dr. Tellam for his over-pronated flat feet and plantar faciitis. He suggested the surgery for over-pronation, and showed us a model of how it works. My husband opted to have it done since a lot of athletes were getting it done with great results. Although the procedure was covered by insurance, the titanium screw/ plug was not. We paid for that very expensive piece. Dr. Tellam took an x-ray of it shortly thereafter and saw that the screw was in on an angle. He said it would probably be ok, but he being a perfectionist would like to correct it at no cost to us. We were on board. Last visit, my husband happened to mention my left toe hurting from a bunion and Dr. Tellam said to bring me in on his next visit. I went in for the initial visit for a bunion which he confirmed by x-ray, but then his assistant proceeded to take me over to a foot scanning machine to apparently scan my feet for orthotics. I was never asked if I wanted it done, it's as though it's standard operating procedure for every new customer no matter what their foot problem is. I can't imagine needing orthotics for a bunion. I thought they were just scanning my feet for their records. It was never clear it was for an expensive pair of orthotics with a $200 copay. They scheduled me for a follow-up a few weeks later, which I thought again was to give me relief from my bunion. No, it was to pick up my orthotics and pay a $40 copay for an office visit which took 3 minutes for his assistant, not even him, to put orthotics in my shoes. I refused to pay the orthotics copay and the office visit copay. This was very scandalous and deceitful to me. So, don't you know that now my husband goes back for his follow-on visit to have the angled screw in his foot corrected, and Dr. Tellam completely changes his tune. Now he says he cannot correct his mistake at no cost, and insurance will not cover it. So my husband, his patient, is left to fend for himself. To see another doctor to fix Dr. Tellam's mistake. Dr Tellam performed the Hypro Cure surgery on my ankles six years ago. All this time and I'm still going strong - highly recommend this corrective surgery.

I found Dr. Tellam and his staff to be friendly, efficient and competent. When l went to Dr. Tellam as a new patient, it was to replace uncomfortable orthodics. When l received the new pair, l was still experiencing discomfort. Dr.Tellam sent them back to the manufacturer to be adjusted. He went out of his way to ensure that the new orthodics were comfortable and provided the correct support with no charges for additional appointments, and always with a smile. I have been a patient of Dr. Tellam for over a year now and I can honestly say I am very pleased with the care I receive from his Kingsley avenue office. I haven't had an opportunity to meet all of the staff at this location but those that I have were very cordial and attentive to my needs. Performed unnecessary multiple xrays, fitting for unnecessary shoe inserts. Makes me wonder about his practice.

Dr Tellam himself is average. His nurse at the beach location was pleasant, the one star review is based on the wait, the inserts and the office staff all which receive a 1 star. Selling inserts is a HUGE money maker. They billed my insurance $700 to for what I have found at DME store for less than $40, the inserts are not even that good. When the bill arrived I offered to make $25 monthly payments and they refused and said they would send me to collections if I didn't pay in 4 months

I travel to all 3 locations just to see him. Always get in the same day. Doctor and all staff are exceptional. Only one going to care for my poor aching feet.

Dr. Tellam is awesome and I would highly recommend him to everyone! If you are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Podiatry Specialist then you have found one in Dr. Tellam. Twenty five years ago when I was in great discomfort due to ingrown toenails, Dr Tellam treated me, and unlike previous Doctors, his precise treatment took away all the pain and it has lasted all this time without a recurrence! My wife also was treated by Dr.Tellam for ingrown toenails with the same excellent results. For some time I have had severe pain in both feet due to Plantar Fasciitis. Last month I called Dr. Tellam's office to make an appointment and the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and set me up for the following day. When I arrived I felt very comfortable in the beautiful office complex and the receptionist was warm and friendly. The Nurses and Technicians were also extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring. Dr. Tellam ran tests and treated me. The results have been unbelievable. When I left his office my pain had been reduced from an 8 to a 1. The Orthotic Inserts s he had made for me are fantastic and my pain level went to 0 and continues to remain at 0. Horrible experience! I wish I had gotten a second opinion. Surgery on my foot went all wrong and he refused to do anything about it. I didn't like his care free attitude. Very rude and unprofessional! He's all about the money not the quality of work. I am very disappointed with his results! I fell down in August and started to see him for a problem I fell again in November. I went to Dr. Tellam because I was having nerve problems in both of my feet. He and his staff were very professional every time I was there. Dr. Tellam would keep me talking to distract me when giving me the shots in my feet so I wouldn't notice as much. The treatment I received from Dr. George Tellam has been more helpful than anything any other doctor has done for me after a lifetime of orthopedic problems and surgeries. When I first saw him he was very forthright with me that my issues likely exceeded his ability to provide an effective treatment, but he was willing to try. After a few visits and many months, I'd assumed he was correct in his initial assessment. But, lo and behold, he came through for me. Dr. Tellam is a wonderful foot doctor. He treated me for my foot pain a few months ago. He is a very pleasant very friendly and the staff is very helpful and kind. It is a warm inviting setting for a doctor's office. Doctor spent adequate time and explained everything to me very well on my condition. I would recommend Dr. Tellam to anyone who is in need of a specialist/foot doctor!!!

Dr. Tellam is a wonderful foot doctor. His staff is very sweet and his office is beautiful. He takes his time and explains everything. He is not quick to give medicine, he also explains how to take care of your problem at home. I would highly recommend this podiatrist to anyone.

After weeks of having pain in my foot, I decided to see a podiatrist! I saw Dr. Tellam in Orange Park and was treated with kindness and professionalism. I was very impressed with the staff in working quickly to assess what needed to be done prior to me seeing the doctor. The nurse taking my x-ray was patient and comforting. Dr. Tellam sat right in front of me explaining what was found on my x-ray and touched my foot gently to not cause further pain. I was very impressed with the entire exam
