I had what they call a mommy makeover done which included liposuction, breast lift and tummy tuck and at this stage of my life I didn’t think it was possible to feel good about myself. Well Dr. Zavitsanos and the surgical staff as well as the office staff made that possible and with each follow up I gain more confidence in myself. He truly is someone who takes pride in what he does and pays attention to detail. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping restore something in myself that I thought I would never get back.

From the initial phone call to schedule the appointment to the removal of the stitches, I had a good experience. I was a bit nervous but the staff and Dr. "Z." reassured me that all would be fine. The office is pleasant and staff was friendly and caring. Thank you!

I had a breast reduction 4 weeks ago and I am so happy with the results. Dr. Z. is a great surgeon and there were 0 complications. I was back to work a week after surgery and the pain was tolerable. I felt immediate relief in my shoulders and back when I woke up from anesthesia, and felt the relief in my neck a few days later. Wish I had done this sooner. It's like a whole new world. The office staff was also wonderful and always available to answer any questions. The nurses and medical team in the surgical suite made me feel at ease. Definitely recommend Dr. Z. and his staff.

It has been almost a full year after my rhinoplasty surgery and I could not have been happier. My experience with Dr. Zavitsanos was excellent from the first consultation. When he saw my nose he told me how he sees it corrected and I felt like he read my mind. I am so happy that in addition to the tip of the nose reshape he convinced me to also redo the bridge of the nose, which was too wide. It was the best decision ever. My nose turned out exactly what I wanted without it being a drastic change to the look of my face. This was the best, the smoothest surgery I ever had with the easiest and soonest recovery. Dr. Zavitsanos made me feel very safe, comfortable and well cared for the entire time including full 12 months of follow up. I am very grateful to Dr. Zavitsanos for my new looks, my happiness and boosted self-confidence. Truly great experience!

Dr. Z and his entire staff was amazing. From setting up my first appointment to helping with insurance approval. He took time explaining my procedures and what to expect. He was available at all hours to answer any concerns I had post surgery. Dr. Z listened to me and made me feel like his only patient. My results are incredible. I had surgery 5 months ago and I am still seeing my body change, for the better! I have no more pain in my back or shoulders. I feel more confident and can find clothing to fit my body! He is an artist! 100% would recommend him!

After putting off breast reduction surgery for many years, I finally got the nerve to meet with doctor Zavitsano . He answered all of my questions and concerns, and eased my fears to have the surgery. I am highly satisfied with the results. Dr. Zavitsano and his staff are wonderful to deal even with every follow up visit.

Here's the thing. My brief interaction with the Dr. Zavitsanos and his team was pleasant and fine. My complaint has to do with the charge. I had a cyst on my back which had become infected and had been lanced and drained (at an Urgent Care center). I wanted to have the remaining cyst removed so that the infection wouldn't return. It was a very simple operation. The total service was as follows. I think the administrative assistant spent about 5 minutes or less processing my information. The operation itself involved about 12 minutes from first jab of numbing agent to the final suture; it involved the doctor and an assistant. There was no elaborate equipment involved: I sat on the side of a chair while the doctor used a couple of hand instruments. Fair enough? They charged $150 for the visit, $425 for the removal, and $550 for "wound repair." Did you catch that? $1125 for 12 minutes of work plus a few minutes of information processing. I consider that an ethical failure. Form your own opinions, but my several graduate degrees and study of economics provide my judgment with no possible way to justify these charges. Here's the thing. I went for several consults to 3 plastic surgeons and chose Dr Zavitsanos for his kindness, skill and taking his time listening to me. I was so ecstatic on how excellent my results were !!! His office staff are all so nice and accommodating! Going back to him again for another procedure.

Dr. Zavitsanos is one of the kindest, most caring doctors I have ever met. He performed a rhinoplasty on me in conjunction with another doctor performing a septoplasty. He checked in on me many times and went above and beyond in numerous situations. He genuinely cares about his patients, the results (which are beyond amazing) and your recovery. i had cancer in my nose 2nd time Dr Z Reconstructed the tip and sides of my nose it took 52 stiches over 2 plus hours my nose has never looked better thank you Dr Z

Dr. Zavitsanos and his staff are wonderful. Helpful, caring and friendly. Dr. Z listens to your concerns, makes recommendations on treatment and welcomes input. I would recommend him to all. i recently completed a 6 week procedure to repair MOHS surgery. When i first visited Dr. Z i had a hole that encompassed the entire side of my left nostril. He graciously consented to meet me after normal office hours and between the two of we agreed on a course action that would require the least amount of surgery. He stitched up the upper portion of the would and for the next weeks i applied a bandaid and vasoline to the wound. At the end of week four the would was almost completely healed. I did require an additional 4 or 5 stitches to complete the process and on August 5, 2020 the stitches were removed. The scarring area is barely visible and within a few months i am very confident that it will be non-existent. This procedure prevented me from skin grafts and an extensive healing process. I am extremely grateful for his patience in this process and once more i would recommend both Dr. Z and his staff to anyone that may be hesitant in choosing this team. I was referred to Dr. Zavitsanos through Abington Lansdale hospital. I was initially concerned, because the consultation was for my 4 year old and it was not a pediatric center. My worry subsided the minute Dr. Zavitsanos walked into the room. He was incredibly patient and personable with my daughter. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Zavitsanos and staff. I am currently 3 weeks post op from breast reduction surgery with Dr Zavistanos. I am very pleased with the results. I am healing perfectly! My areola is already looking back to normal, he did an amazing job to ensure minimal scarring. Dr Zavistanos is brilliant and laid all the cards on the table, so I had no surprises. I had a breast reduction on April 1st, so I am about 4 weeks into recovery and I would just like to say how happy I am. Dr. Zavitsanos is an amazing surgeon and all of his staff is so kind. I am a patient of Dr.Zavitsanos, I was referred to him from my breast surgeon after being diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction during chemotherapy and radiation. The staff there went above and beyond all expectations, they walk you threw each step and make you feel at ease especially during such a stressful time. Dr Zavitsanos is wonderful I couldn’t have asked for a better result, he was able to reconstruct my nipples for me also even though having radiation on the left breast. He does exceptional work and I am very grateful to him and to all his staff for everything they have done.

I'm a 2 time breast cancer survivor and Dr. Zavitsanos did my reconstruction surgery after a bilateral mastectomy. He is an exceptional doctor who cares and takes the time to help you understand what needs to be done. He is kind and puts you at ease. I was so scared but he talked with me the whole time during office appointments and pre-surgery to calm me. He even checked on me when he went on vacation, calling me and giving me his cell number so I could contact him if I needed to even though there was a doctor on call. His office staff are wonderful! Always making me feel safe and knowing I could call at any time. He even removed basal cell from my arm. It has been a long 2 years of surgeries and recovery, and I could not have been in better hands!

Christmas Eve and office closed 4:00pm and Dr.Zavitsanos meet my husband at his office to stitch up his forehead from a fall because of the virus raging he wouldn't go to an emergency room. I don't know about anyone else but I think that's rather spectacular and am grateful beyond word for his understanding and kindness in helping us out!

I had to have a cyst removed from my neck about 10 years ago and I was worried about the scar and shaving. Dr Zavitsanos did an amazing job and I have no issues with the scar that is barely noticeable. I would recommend him to anyone seeking plastic surgery.

Had pilar cysts on my head went to dr zavitsanos office at aria toresdale and he removed them, his staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him to everyone, quick fast procedure was out of there within 1hr

I absolutely love this doctor! My daughter was attacked by a pit bull really late one night ~ midnight. The hospital stated that they could not repair the damage, so they gave us his name. He told us to come to the office - at that hour! He repaired the damage to my daughter's face with such precision and care. They bonded over Temple U (his alma mater and her current school) and he continued to care for her over the next three months! He is gentle and kind and has a wicked sense of humor but uses it to diffuse any anxiety felt. My upper lip healed beautifully after his genius stitching, but the incision on my lip itself healed irregularly by less than a millimeter. Seeking perfection, Dr. Zavitsanos repaired the irregularity, returning my smile to its original form with no trace of the cancer or scar from several surgeries. He saw me out of regular schedule for pain I was experiencing on the weekends and checked on me after my surgery. Dr, Zavitsanos is very caring with much passion for his patients as well as his job. Office and doctor extremely helpful when I needed attention on a Saturday. Would highly recommend him

Don't bother making an appointment. They just called me to cancel mine because the Dr. had "another appointment". We have had this appointment scheduled for weeks. Incredibly unaccommodating over the phone when attempting to reschedule. There are other doctors. This was an urgent appointment that required surgery for me. Unbelievably offensive. I have notified my PCP and HCP not to recommend to others in my network.

I had carpal tunnel surgery in Nov 2017 and Dr Z did an absolutely fabulous job. My care was GREAT!! The healing process was remarkable. He is a wonderful, gentle, caring and knowledgable doctor and his staff that works with him is phenomenal.

I love Dr. Z! I'm a breast cancer patient. I had 2 tumors in 1 breast, but the other breast was fine. For various reasons, I decided against a bilateral mastectomy but my concern was..would the reconstructed breast look enough like the healthy breast? I make my living as an actress and model, so symmetry was crucial. Dr. Z totally understood about all of this, and was even more concerned about what I would look like than I was! The results are amazing!! I cannot say enough good things!!!

He is an amazing doctor! Very caring about his patients and full of compassion. His work is the best around would use him and no one else. I love the work he has done on me after breast cancer surgery. Everyone should use him.He calls you back instantly after hours if you have a problem. He has even met me after hours on a weekend at his office. He answers my questions whenever i need more information.

As I haven't met the doctor or staff as I never got to see them I felt I had to write about my experience with scheduling my appointment. I called on March 27th. I was offered Monday, April 17th. While talking with the scheduler I was offered a morning appointment or afternoon. I choose the 1:00 PM appointment as it works better for me. I also told the scheduler that I was taking off this day from work to make this appointment. Well, I received a call today, April 4th, informing me that they would have to reschedule my appointment as the doctor scheduled a surgery which would prevent him from seeing me. I reminded the doctors office that I took off the day for this appointment and if they could give me a morning appointment as it was originally offered to me. She said NO and offered me an appointment for another Monday but 3 - 4 weeks out. I reminded her again that I am not able to get days off easily and that I hope they could work me into their morning appointments on the 17th of April and be flexible as I was forced to be flexible with them. She would not budge and became rude so I informed them that I would look for another surgeon as they made it uncomfortable to even become a patient of the doctor. Dr. Zavitsanos performed a breast reduction post a partial mastectomy. I am thrilled with the results. I look normal (thinner and younger) at an E cup v. the H cup I wore previously. I received excellent written and verbal instructions about the surgery and the proper care post-surgery. I have always been seen very promptly at the office. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a postive and compasionate experience. My insurance company was not responding promptly and Dr. Zavitsanos' office worked tirelessly to ensure I was approved (which I was after my surgery had to be postponed once). Dr. Zavitsano personally took my tissue specimen to the pathologist that reviewed my original cancerous specimen. I liked that idea for continuity. My recovery period was fairly short - back to work in 3 days, back to work travel by train in 2 weeks, back to exercising in 4 weeks, with moderate upper body workout in 6 weeks. I was referred to Dr. Zavitsanos by my dermatologist. I needed 2 procedures done...one on my foot and one on my arm. He completed both in less than half an hour, with absolutely no pain...during or after the procedures!!! During the procedure, we talked about football which made me extra comfortable. A week later, I am fully recovered. His staff was amazing also. I highly recommend Dr. Zavitsanos!

I am pleased beyond my expectations with the results of breast reconstruction created by Dr.Zavitsanos. I had a 29 year old implant following a mastectomy which I learned from an MRI was leaking silicone. Dr. Z. actually called the radiologist to clarify these findings and I was so impressed that he took the time to do this. When he first met with me he clearly laid out my options without pressuring me. He and his skilled staff have helped me through every step of this transformative process.

Ive had breast lift and implants,tummy tuck and arm lift.He is an amazing Dr and really cares about his patients,great bedside manner..most importantly my results are wonderful.Ive already referred people to him and in the future I will only go to him for the rest of my surgeries because I trust him.
