Gerald Conrad Bauknight JR.

Dr. Bauknight performed an EP study, cardio version, and implanted a loop recorder. Although he is extremely busy, when he walks in the room, he is laser-focused on you. He and nurse-practitioner Robyn Lorrick are the best. I trust them with my life and recommend 100%.

Dr. Bauknight is a caring, concerned cardiologist. He always has time to explain things and answer any questions I have. I am very thankful I have him for a doctor. He knows his field and does everything in his power to correct any problems I have.

I've been in the waiting area with my father for a 12:15pm doctor's appointment. We arrived at 11:50am and it is currently 1:40pm. This is utterly ridiculous and it is apparent that this office overbook appointments. It only makes me question the quality of care and whether or not its about quantity or quality here. I understand unforseen events and things of that sort but this appears to be pure greed and not prioritizing patient care and comfort. Dr. Bouknight is apparently the only doctor in this office and yes he's one person BUT let's be smart here. This type of atmosphere (long wait to be called in and I'm sure to be seen by the physician) is not good for the patient. I'm highly disappointed! I'm being modest with the 2 stars. Was not prepared to see me upon entering, shuffling through papers/records for 5 minutes. Dr Bauknight was short, abrupt, and extremely tense for whatever reason without his ever previously meeting me or even before discussion of my case! Bad day? He would interrupt and ask questions about a conditions doctors should be familiar with, asking me to explain and expecting me to know medical terminology. Very stressful visit for a cardiologist!

He was meticulous and communicated clearly, answering all my questions thoroughly and putting a lot of thought into diagnosing my situation and offering the best treatment options.
