Not a nice guy. Hurried through appointment.

Outrages .... My wife spent over 2 hours and 20 minutes in the waiting room (after dilation of her eyes) without someone asking could they help her. My wife should have gone and asked what was taking so long, but the is one who doesn't like confrontation. When she did go back Dr. Rosen spent 5 minutes with her and said "all looks good" and was done. Dr. Rosen you owe my wife an apology. Outrages .... Dr. Rosen is one of the best eye docs in the Carolinas. He is dedicated, stays up-to-date, and is to be trusted. I have Fuchs, have had many other past eye surgeries, making a necessary corneal transplant all that more difficult. I'm happy to report that 60-days post surgery all is as expected. I couldn't ask for a better doc.

This is my second review of Dr. Gerald Rosen for another surgery on my right eye. Dr. Rosen performed a Triple DMEK transplant and IOL on my right eye in December of 2017. The surgery was a complete success. I went from a constant foggy vision to crystal clear within days after surgery for Fuchs Dystrophy. When the original surgery date was canceled due to a lack of donor corneas he went out of his way and made time to finish my surgery prior to the new year. If I could give 100 stars I would.

Highly advise against letting Dr Rosen or horizon care anywhere near your eyes. I unfortunately went in to see this Dr with a simple night driving glare concern. Was led like a sheep to the slaughter to have a superficial TPK laser treatment to my cornea. I came out with destroyed vision in my left eye. Fortunately he only did this to one eye. After multiple failed attempts to get some help to fix the problem and not even a single returned phone call or email I have no choice but to go public.

Very precise Dr. Excellent at what he does best. I am happy he gave me the best eye care I needed.
