The staff was very helpful, and Dr. Gianoli took the time to listen to my complex issues and provide a thoughtful, diagnosis using his expertise. My case is not a simple one, and we now have a step-by-step treatment plan that starts conservatively and gets more aggressive if conservative measures do not work.

Dr Gianoli's office staff and himself are excellent! They always give exceptional care and listen to concerns you may have.

What a waste of money and being treated for a condition that other doctors confirmed I do not have. Gianoli tried to convince me that I have holes in my inner ears when this was ruled out by other specialists. I have one word to describe him, smug. If you suffer from dizziness, find another provider, it will be the best decision that can save your life.

What an amazing experience! The doctor and staff were so prompt, kind and thorough. I feel like I have the answers I have searched for over several years and countless doctors.

Excellent experience.

Very professional and expert care.

Dr. Gerard Gianoli is a perfect example of the money-hungry doctor that has no true concern for his patients, but wants to operate on them and throw them to the curb. This was certainly my experience. After his disastrous operation, he was non-existent to my post-operational patient needs. His office charged my credit card for every question/concern although he is the one who created all these problems that I did not have before his surgical intervention. Do your research, get a second opinion AND DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR FOR SURGERY!

I am so impressed

I had a very warm welcome and experience with Dr. Gianoli. He is caring, good listner with attention to details and provides very clear explanations - which was important for me. I have not met another doctor who would be so understanding and reasuring. Although it was far from easy for me - testing was as to be in a science fiction movie with unique state of art equipment. And I am endlessly grateful for Lisa at front desk who took care of me over months exchanging many phone calls and emails addressing any issues and concerns I had.

I found out that Dr. G did something terrible to my ear that should not have been done and that cause me all my misery, afterwards he totally abandoned me unless it is to blame my other ear for my misery. I am definitely ANOTHER VICTIM OF HIS PERILYMPH FISTULA MODUS OF OPERANDI. I asked his office if I could share my experience on the Ear and Balance web site to notify other people from possible outcome of this ear surgery but my request was ignored. Can anyone imagine that Amazon would only agree to publish five stars reviews on the products they sell? And if he does not publish these bad experiences, can anyone really trust the positive reviews on his web site? What he does, he does without consent.

Dr. Gianoli is one of a kind! 10 stars!! He truly cares about his patients, he takes the time to listen to you, and explains all results thoroughly. He has performed tests that other doctors had not done, nor even offered as an option. Instead of throwing an inaccurate diagnosis at you just to get you out the door as fast as possible so he/she can get to his next patient; Dr. Gianoli and the amazing staff, takes the time to invest in your care, getting you healthy again. (edited to add this after going through treatment) Finding Dr. Gianoli has been life changing. Before seeing him I was having to use a walker to walk, could not drive, could not look up, fell constantly....my quality of life was non-existent. Now I am back to functioning like normal! I am always called back on time for my appointment. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Each procedure is always explained in detail before the procedure is administered. I feel that my case is always important and everything has been explained. I have been under Ear and Blance care for the past 15 months, and it has been life changing. We have searched for 12+ years for the care that I have received. Blessed

Good process, 3 steps, initial appointment with doctor, testing and then final visit summarizing finding with recommendations.

A wonderfully kind, responsive and especially gifted doctor! Dr. Gianoli is the super-expert on the strange condition my son had; defects of the inner ear, scds and perilymph fistula. We flew all the way from Norway to Louisiana to seek treatment at the Ear and Balance Institute in Louisiana and will never regret it. My sons condition was debilitating but he got his health back after dr. Gianoli's treatment.

Quick and easy

Dr. Gianoli destroyed my life with an unnecessary surgery for a Perilymph fistula. I now have permanent hearing loss in both ears, clogged ears, and roaring tinnitus. He is unwilling to help me now. I am just a thorn in his side. He was paid thousands of dollars, but blames the horrible outcome on me. He says I will not get better, unless I have surgery on the other ear. I live in constant torture, because I was desperate and did not listen to the warnings from others. The doctor’s oath is to first “do no harm”. Dr. Gianoli seems to be harming many with life long negative outcomes from unnecessary surgery. Look up further reviews of him on Google. You will find multiple people just like me.

Doctor Gianoli was very thorough and he pin pointed my problem, I cannot be thankful enough. Nurses, technicians and front destroy ladies were very helpful and sweet. This is the best doctor's visit I have ever had so far.

Courteous and helpful.

I am five years out of surgery for superior canal dehiscence, and I can tell you definitively that Dr. Gianioli was incorrect in his diagnosis, and I never should have listened when he insisted to operate on my left ear. I have partial hearing loss in my left ear that is permanent. I advise everyone to get atleast 3 consults from different doctors. The doctors at both the University of Washington and Swedish Hospital in Seatr told me that they do not think I had SCDS and asked me to reconsider before flying to Louisiana to drop tens of thousands of dollars. Dr. Gianoli doesnt even take insurance so I am still trying to pay off debt. Furthermore, they hand you an ipad add ask you to rate them after just the initial consult instead of after the actual surgery so beware of his inflated ratings. Please seek out 3 consults and do not blindly believe in what Dr. Gianoli says. Absolutely the best and most caring doctor I've seen since my TBI 8 years ago. He will not settle for Occam's easiest and simplest answer to any balance problem. Dr. Gianoli is determined to find the answer, not simply the most likely answer. Vastly different in the field of medicine. Beware of this fraud doctor. Based on a diagnosis that Johns Hopkins has described as a total fraud , Dr. Gianoli performed on me a surgery that caused me to lose my hearing. He caused me an impossible killing tinnitus.In addition to messing up my auditory nerve he ruined my vestibular nerve and left me without my balance system.

dr. gianoli changed my life quality in a very positive way!! ..after first SCDS surgery method in johns hopkins all the bad symptoms came back! dr. gianoli did in a revision surgery a perfect work! seemed to me like a wonder.. i come from switzerland in europe. nobody else was able to do this great job!!!
