Dr. Gerard Fernandez Librodo

In November 2021 Dr Librodo did a spinal fusion of my L4-L5-S1 area when I came outta surgery and he stopped by to see me I told him my legs felt like they were on fire constantly, all he said was that's because of the nerves started to heal from being pinched off for so long. I kept complaining and finally my PCP sent me for nerve conduction testing and come to find out that due to the surgery I now have perineal nerve palsy. And I also asked for the copies of my MRIs from in the past and just before surgery to be returned, but hey guess what??? They mistearly vanished. They actually told me they were no longer in my file and they could not find them then on one of my after surgery check ups I was still hurting so he checked my back out an said it's the S1 joint, I asked what he meant. How could it be the S1 joint when you fused it. He said he didn't touch the S1but according to the surgery report it's states he did. Now I may actually have to go back through surgery for his screw up. I wouldn't take a rat into see him or the El dorado clinic, they're all just a bunch of money hungry quacks and don't care about the patients.

I would give less than one star if that was a option,  my daughter was referred to librodo in 2019-2020 possibly even 2021 by her pcp of the time for casting of bilateral clubfoot. I was told he would be doing modified "ponsetti" unfortunately at the time what I did not know was this would be a set up for disaster. Especially with little experience for a 4 componet deformity. We stayed here about 4-5 months constant cast slipping, mentioning of having pins placed to "keep the cast on", and several occasions where he told me she would need refered to someone else before just completely ignoring us. My daughter would scream the entire appointment, one of the lady's even commented on how it sounded as if she was "being abused"  if that wasn't heartbreaking enough after about the 14th or so cast had slipped her feet were unrenizonablie, her little legs covered in brusing. Her once mild clubfoot was now one of the most severe and she has had in total 22 casting now. He turned her feet severally complex. According to ponseti international association should not require more than 9 casting to receive maximum "correction". My baby is now almost 3 years old and she sufferes often, she wakes in complete panic, in a serious amount of pain. She becomes tired with little amounts of activity and that also increases the pain. Her feet now are very resistant to treatment and still not quite corrected, she does not like her feet being touched at all. Please if you are a parent seeking care for your baby with clubfoot do not go here, make sure to do your research and keep your babies safe. I will always regret putting trust into librodo especially, to provide proper care to my child. Dr.Librodo is a great doctor he just done my three level lower lumbar surgery and did a great job I would highly suggest Dr. Librodogreat bedside manner’s Cathy Smith

I actually know two people that went to Dr. Librodo. They were both left in terrible shape.The only reason i gave him even one star is because thats the only way i could write this review.so i could let people know how horrible their experience was with him.

Dr. Gerard Librodo 1st visit sent only his PA. They said to be in a neck brace for 6 weeks and then come back. After 6 wks neck hurt worse, patient went from a full movement doing all things to a wheel chair with full care. Patient got to see Dr on 3rd visit. Was told that his neck went from a fracture to completely severed into pinching spinal cord. That patient would have to live this way or have surgery to repair. Although he could not do this at his facility. (disappointed, never recommend)

I had to wait over an hour for an appt to get paperwork filled out. It took weeks to get the appt in the first place then he took my money and decided he didnt want to fill it out.
