Dr. Gerard Lombardo

I found him to be exceptionally arrogant, and completely unhelpful. He offered one option and wouldn’t believe it didn’t work for me, despite two lab studies showing it didn’t work.

Awesome care

My first appointment with Dr Lombardo went very well. He took his time to make sure I understood what his plan of treatment swould be. The office is run efficiently and on time. I found Julia, the assistant/ office manager to be professional and knowledgeable. I plan on keeping this team.

Jessica was extremely rude, I can’t believe how this people can talk to the patients over the phone, they don’t even let you finish what you need to explain, even Dr was so rude, no manners at all, how can you feel comfortable in a place when you about to make a study and people are treating you this way, second they sound angry and distracted like you are bothering them when all you want is for them to help you, thank god I didn’t even do the appointment with them, if you want to be treated with humanity and respect that you deserve as a patient stay away from this cannibalism of behavior, and save your self peace of mind. Dr.Gerard Lombardo was very informative and easy to talk to. Great doctor and great office staff they really have it together!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Lombardo and his lovely attentive staff! For myself, they were fantastic!! Clean Safe office - important in Covid times! Quick appointments, kind patient informed meeting with doctor!! (Their affiliation with the Sleep Study Center is amazing too!!) But for my husband - ABOVE AND BEYOND! My husband went to Dr. Lombardo because I heard a strange breathing noise - Dr. Lombardo went further into finding out what was the cause - he ordered an echocardiogram which lead them to see my husband has a cardiac issue needing immediate attention. Dr. Gerard Lombardo is a pulmonologist in Brooklyn, New York and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Mount Sinai Hospital and New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Went to see Dr. Lombardo and he was FANTASTIC! He listened to me first and then made comments. He was also very calm, making me feel at ease. Julia and Jessica were my first contact and they were very nice and most helpful. The atmosphere was nice too, like you were walking in to a living room. Doctor seems to have somewhat of a attitude and the two front desk girls worst both have attitude s as well . If you want a good office find one w a good doc and good staff. Yes Julia was one of the ones w attitude maybe his girlfriend .

Excellent, professional office with very friendly people!

Just had visit with Dr.Lombardo staff Julia and Jessica very eager to help. Very professional staff and Great Doctor. Will reccomend doctor very pleasant and helpful.

Doctor’s office is very organized with paperwork and makes things easy, and Dr. Lombardo is kind and knowledgeable.

I find it very difficult to believe reviews that I've read prior to scheduling my appointment with Dr. Lombardo, I found his staff to be very helpful and kind. Want to put this review out in defense of my experience with Dr. Gerard Lombardo and his staff. I would highly recommend their office for sleep issues.:)

Dr. Lombardo is a kind, caring, and compassionate physician. He takes time to explain everything so that there is no confusion and incorporates your comments and concerns into the management plan. The staff there is also very friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend!

Fast talker. Does not listen or help. Puts you on hold and never picks up! Julia is nasty and she thinks she knows it all. Truth be told this place is garbage.

Not gonna be a patient of Dr Lombardo any longer. His staff person Julia is horrible. Disrespectful, condescending and doesn't let you get a word in. She thinks she knows all and doesn't.

Well I had two sleep studies done here. First time everything was okay with a male stuff member but second time we had attitude problem with a female staff. Everything in a office looks outdated but not bad at all.

I was referred by my neurologist to consult Dr. Lombardo. The clerk/receptionist who answered my call dated 2/5/18 at 1:30pm was very unprofessional. She would not listen to my inquiry and would not acknowledge what I was trying to say. She was very rude and unprofessional!!! She actually did hang up the phone on me. The doctor takes his time in explaining your symptoms and what he recommends to help you with your diagnosis. The office staff is very work conscientious and will accommodate your requests.

THE WORST AND NASTIEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TOGETHER WITH THE LADIES IN THE RECEPTION. CONSIDER SOMEBODY ELSE OR YOU MIGHT BE DISAPPOINTED.. IF i COULD GIVE ZERO I WOULD.

Now that I have went to another qualified sleep doctor I am able to write a review with a lot of perspective. I went to Dr. Lombardo as I was having insomnia and always felt tired (exhausted) after getting a night's sleep. Dr. Lombardo had me take a sleep study but said that my sleeping problems (insomnia) were caused because I wanted to stay up late. He belittled me. The results of the sleep study showed barely anytime in Rem sleep. Dr. Lombardo signed off on the study and said everything was fine. After years of suffering and feeling exhausted every day I had no other choice but to do some research and visit another Doctor. I took another sleep study and was found to wake up 22x every hour. I had something called upper airway resistance syndrome. It is like sleep apnea but the pauses in breathing are each less than 10 seconds.This new DR also prescribed a sleep endoscapy so that he could see what was going on in my airway while I slept. It is very odd that Dr. Lombardo didn't decide to do this years ago. It is also extremely odd that he didn't think that not getting any Rem sleep was a major issue. I am currently writing this review as I am recovering from surgery (uppp) with the hopes of expanding my airway. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. HE IS EXTREMELY UNQUALIFIED. Dr.Lombardo is a disgrase. I had a sleep study 6 weeks ago and was told i would hear from him in 2 weeks. Have called both of his offices and as yet have no response. He has a terriblely unreliable office staff. His Park Slope offece did not even have the phone number of his Bay Ridge office. I would seriously suggest that anyone considering visiting Dr Lombardo to look elsewhere for proper medical attention. I have a seriouds disorder and have been abandoned by Dr Lombardo. Be warned. .
