Even though my wait was a extra hour. I personally thought Dr. Thompson was hilarious and strait forward which I love in people because I'm the same way. His assistant was awesome also. ????

Good at what he does but a little egotistical (after scheduling a completely pointless appointment that I hadn't gotten the right testing to have yet, he responded with anger when I suggested he'd wasted my time and agreed with me when I told him he had an attitude with "damn right I have an attitude!" I just think my time is as valuable as doctor's time which he doesn't, but I still would recommend him as a surgeon. Had a consult with dr. Thompson recently and he was very thorough, thoughtful and patient. He explained things to me in layman terms. If I didn't understand something he took the time to explain and even used the paper on the exam table to draw examples. Some of us are more visual than others.

Does NOT spend time after procedure to explain results or good follow up instructions. You almost always have to call the office to find out if he wants to see you again etc.
