I like the doctor, but the medical office is an absolute disaster. I was scheduled for a 1PM appointment. I arrived at 12:45 to find that everyone was at lunch until 1PM. No big deal, right? Well, when I arrived the waiting room was already full of people who were scheduled for appointments between 12PM and 1PM. I wonder how that happened... People were already getting angry. Then a frail older gentleman came in and after waiting over 40 minutes he had to leave for another appointment at which point the staff were quite rude to him for wanting to reschedule. Oh, and they didn't know who he was even after he signed in. NONE of the staff seem to look at the sign-in sheet. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes before I reminded them that I was waiting. They responded as if they didn't know who I was even though they texted me earlier to confirm I was coming, and I signed in when I arrived. Another older gentleman comes in and ends up waiting 45 minutes past his appointment time, then starts screaming at the staff that he isn't being seen because, and I quote, "he is a black man". I had a routine appointment that should have last 40 minutes tops. It ended up being almost 3 hours until I left the building. Good luck.

No problems, excellent help and explanations

Absolutely awful front desk service.

I am doing my diligence prior to my initial consultation. Rough crowd, but I couldn't help but notice all complaints were surrounding scheduling, or telephone issues! Dr. Kazmouz is one of the nation's most skilled cardiologists, he saved my friends' life and gave him a 10 year warranty on a pacemaker! Lol, I trust the majority will re-evaluate their opinion concerning the good doctor's staff!

Absolutely the Best 'Bedside-Manner" professional Cardiologist to be found ANYwhere. Superb attentive/knowledgeable staff. Any negative feedback has to be the issue of the feedback author; Not due to the top-of-the-mark treatment patients will find at Dr. Kazmous' office.

My first chemical stress test today and Michael and Danny could not have been nicer. The process itself was uncomfortable, but the fact that I had them to joke with made it a lot less scary. Thanks for all the good camera angles, guys!

Excellent Cardiologist! I LOVE THIS DOCTOR! He is professional, compassionate, down to earth...I feel VERY confident under his care~ Nurse of 30 years HE'S THE BEST!!!

Very attentive. My issues are complex, he listened, I felt heard. I look forward to working together to make a plan that will improve my health and regain some stamina. Thank you! PA and nurse excellent and friendly!

Several times I have gone in after having had my appointment time for months. And been told no my appointment was earlier and they had me as a no-show. Wrong. Today I got a call my 6 month follow up needing to be canceled because the doctor had an emergency. Next appointment two months away NOT APPROPRIATE....????????

The best doctor in the desert

New to the southern CA area and referred to Dr. Kazmouz's office for a heart condition. Been to his office at least 3-4 times now (in under 1 year) and done a few telephone follow-up calls.....not ONCE ever been talked with by the actual doctor Kazmouz! Front office staff seem to be a "machine" processing paperwork and trying hard to be personable with patients. Telephone calls with nurse practitioners have been super friendly though! Is there really a Dr. Kazmouz?!

Brilliant doctor! Saved my life in 2009! Put in heart stents!! Now 10 years later I'm going strong. Beautiful bedside maner..He really cares!!

A personable & competent Doctor who is familiar with each patient's case. He takes time with his patients and is honest & caring.

The Doctors are fine. Their billing office is not. I NEVER received the bill. I had 3 insurances so I assumed it was paid in full .ALMOST TWO YEARS LATER COMES THE DEBT COLLECTION NOTICE. Their billing office said they sent out a bill 3 or 4 times. Except they didn't, or I would have paid it. I will never return to this office.

I cannot speak to the doctors care as I have never been able to see or speak to him. What I can speak about is the lack of follow up and empty promises to return my calls. I have called at 4:14 (closes at 4:30) and I get the answering service, called at 1:30 (back from lunch at 1:00) and I get the answering service. I had a heart monitor done 3 weeks ago and cannot get anyone to give me the results! This office has done nothing to make me feel at ease or that they are in the business of caring for people. My mother received excellent service from the doctor and his entire staff.

Excellent doctor, not only great experience but very creative and dedicated doctor, I am pleased to see him each visit him and his lovely staff and recommend him for every patient.

Terrible office staff! Waited three weeks to get test results and only got them after I called numerous times and then got angry. Several promises to call back were broken, no one ever called! The answering service picked up a few times when it was normal business hours ( 1:30, they are back at 1:00 and 4:15 when they close at 4:30. These people do not make one feel cared for. This has been so frustrating that they have caused me more anxiety.

Let's see, where do I begin? How about the two homophobic clients in the waiting room who were talking about how Palm Springs is being taken over by gay people while the staff behind the front desk sat there and said nothing. Or maybe the one clerk who berated me when I forgot my insurance card information (which she had on file right in front of her with my ID)--when I told the doctor of this he said he would take care of it but he never did and she never stopped being rude to me in subsequent visits. But perhaps worse was being told that after tests that came up negative my doctor patronizingly and laughingly told me in front of an intern that there was nothing wrong with me except I could lose a few pounds (I had gained 4 pounds during the time I saw him, my heart palpitations had started six months prior when I had LOST 15 pounds). Much later a CAT scan by my regular doctor showed I have the beginnings of emphysema and she told me that could account for my heart palpitations. If you want to be talked down to and made to feel stupid and foolish, by all means go to this doctor--if you want to be taken seriously and treated with kindness, go somewhere else. This is one of the worst be front desk staff with which I have ever dealt. Today they hung up on me as I made a complaint. I spoke to the doctor over the two years I saw him and he would always ask for another chance and he would resolve the problem. Today shows he must simply not care. This is a cardiologist office with lots of quite elderly people. It is shameful how I have seen them treated. Find a different cardiologist who actually has a heart. I saw him at the hospital. He did a heart catherization. Very thorough. Excellent bedside manners. I also saw him at his office. I completely trust him.

This office is an assembly line. No personalization whatsoever. They are in and out as fast as they can be. Have questions? You better be prepared to ask them quickly. I made an appointment with Kazmouz and never saw him. He has a second Dr that he brought on when he received the Kiaser Permanente account just over a year ago. If you want personalized care, this is not your place.

This is a terrible front desk in the office. The staff is so rude. They hung up on me today. I have been with the doctor for two years and he has assured me that he would resolve the issue. He has not. He has no control of his own practice. It is reprehensible how the patients are treated.

My heart rate dropped to 28 beats per minute so I called his office and was greeted with, "I'm busy...call back after 1:30 pm." I went into DRMC ER where the ER doctor told me, "You have to be admitted." Dr Kazmouz came in and just sent me HOME!!! Only go to him if you are suicidal!!!!

He was very helpful when I need a last minute appt and stress echo he came through for me. He was very professional along with his staff

Dr Kazmouz is a very compassionate and caring physician. He takes time with you and makes sure you understand what he is saying.
