Both Dr. Kahn and Oscar were very warm, welcoming professionals. I felt very comfortable at my first visit to the office. I would definitely recommend Dr. Khan.

Dr. Khan showed great compassion in listening to my dilemma. He took the time to explain to me the different approaches, both medicinal, and talk therapy, to help me to help myself with my anxiety issues . Dr. Khan is non judgmental, and I feel very comfortable with him as my new doctor.

Do not go to this doctor or hospital. They are dangerous, and are committing insurance fraud (in my opinion) to keep people as long as they can, even when admitting yourself voluntarily. This guy is as scary as it gets, and needs to have his license revoked (in my opinion).

This Dr. is dangerous. He tries forcing you into taking medications you have adverse reactions too, and ignores you when you try to tell him. He is smug, arrogant, and extremely disrespectful to patients.

I was monitored by Khan while I was admitted to North Tampa Behavioral Health. The medications he prescribed me have done amazingly so far. He helped explain the side effects of the trazodone, as well. I'm glad to have had him.

He also practices out of North Tampa Behavioral Center. This facility actively manipulated its patients into signing documents that keep them longer than necessary, participated in practices seeking to defraud insurance and Medicaid, and makes little to no effort to properly diagnose and treat the people admitted here. They treat charts and paperwork not patients. It is a money making machine that disregards the welfare of the most vulnerable among us. Currently they are illegally keeping family members from visiting with their loved ones under the guise of Covid regulations (which have been lifted) while providing no basic sanitation inside. Patients are not required to wear masks, they are not provided with soap and there is filth accumulating in communal areas. The doctors are apathetic and disinterested in anything other than meeting apparent quotas to keep patients an average of 6 days. See anyone else!

Dr Kahn provides psychiatric services to North Tampa Behavioral Health. This facility, under his direction actively manipulates its patients into signing documents that keep them longer than necessary, and appears to sanction protocols that may be seeking to defraud insurance and Medicaid, making little to no effort to properly diagnose and treat the people admitted there. Specifically Dr Kahn treats charts and paperwork not patients. He is a willing participant in a money making machine that disregards the welfare of the most vulnerable among us. Dr Kahn is apathetic and disinterested in anything other than lengthening his patients stay well beyond the average for comparable mental health facilities. Do not look to him for help because you will not find it.

Wasted $800 and 3 weeks of my life. Dr. Khan refused to sign my job accommodation form, which would have allowed me to attend his program without fearing I would lose my job. In fact, he told me that if I wished him to fill out my forms, I would have to attend his program 5 days a week rather than 3; this would have required I enroll in a separate program and be at the hospital near 40 hours a week. I have neither the time nor the money to afford such a request. Dr. Khan was also frequently late, and he does check-ins with his patients for just one hour each day; if he's late, you're simply not going to get to see him that day, meaning you may miss the once-weekly medicine review that his program advertises. All this is to say, Dr. Khan is worthless. Do not waste your time. There is a reason why his reviews are so poor (search around, I am not the first to make these complaints). Go somewhere else. This man is only interested in doing the bare minimum while taking home that paycheck.

My mother found out the practice was permanently closed when she arrived for an appointment. No response to repeated requests for her treatment records. Leaving psychiatric patients under care to fend for themselves is unprofessional and unethical to say the least.

In addition to the above, I called his office today to ask a question about. a medication. It appeared his practice is now Permanently Closed. I was never told and was left to search for a new physician.

From the moment you walk into Dr. Khan's office, you know you are in a professional, reputable (and clean) doctor's office. The Receptionist always greets you with a warm smile and hello. I have only been seeing Dr. Khan for a short time but I feel very comfortable and well taken care of by Dr. Khan and Gina, his PA. They make you feel respected as they listen and work with you to get the best treatment possible. I highly recommend Dr. Khan and his staff. They really do care.

Dr. Khan has been working with my partner now for nearly a year and after up’s and down’s I feel that she has made some great progress. Not having nightmares like before and if thou my partner feels safe sleeping during the day time at least she is sleeping. Still has ani-Social behavior, but I can live with that as long as it doesn’t matter to her. Life has calm down very much in our home due to the help of Dr. Khan and the staff is as always wonderful to work with. Thank you Dr. Khan

My wife left his office after many of her meds were eliminated In without explanation. He said he never had ordered one of the meds but that was not true. In the car, she became extremely anxious and broke into tears. We went back into the office to explain what had happened to the nurse, who is very nice and competent. She found the med the doctor said he had not prescribed in her computer. He never even sent the prescriptions he did prescribe to the pharmacy and my wife was left high and dry since our calls to his office went unanswered. Her anxiety peaked at 170 so into the local ER we went. All in all his lack of compassion and his actions without discussing anything with us as to why he acted as he did left us vulnerable . Furthermore, he told my wife's PCP an inaccurate story about how she supposedly visited a doctor to get Xanax when in fact that doctor prescribed it during her hospitalization. Another woman in his waiting room said she had cancer and the doctor took her off the meds she had taken for years and was looking elsewhere for treatment.

He is very smug, cocky, and arrogant. Did not show any real concern for my well-being. Due to his negligence, and maltreatment when I was in a deep psychosis. I had a severe dystonic/allergic reaction to an antipsychotic (Haldol) that he was overdosing me on in IPU. He then proceeded to put me on Fluphenazine (very similar to Haldol), and I had another dystonic/allergic reaction. If he does not like you he will try to turn staff/doctors against you. He likes playing mind games. AVOID!

First visit Dr. Khan put me on Effexor and Trazodone. Today I went to my monthly appt. We discussed Effexor wasn't working yet and Traz. isn't working,. He doubled the meds and added Visteral, Khan said that should cure my agoraphobia and panic attacks. I tried explaining I've taken Visteral, it didn't help my panic attacks, as they are getting worse....he showed no concern and told me there is nothing he can do! I demanded my money back and he continued to berate me in front entire office.
