Ghyath Samman

My husband was calling about scheduling and the staff were beyond rude. They even said "this man is getting on my nerves" when he was enquiring about a date for getting a scan done from a third party. Heart issues are usually a very stressful ordeal where patients are anxious and nervous. This was extremely hurtful to me to have people who are just so uncaring. We will definitely not be coming back 2. I read some other Comments and the responses to them are just terrible. There are more diplomatic ways of defending your business / reputation than by directly calling your client a liar.

Best heart doc ever.

I have been under Dr Sammon care for 4 years. I feel he is very knowledgeable and shows compassion and concern for my care. I recently had a cardiac cath done which resulted in me getting a stent put in this was my third cardiac Cath.This is my first stent upon going to seeing him after having the surgery Dr Sammon with his caring and compassion for my care. Look me in the eyes and told me you had 90% blockage, if he hadn’t been so compassionate enough to tell me how important it was to have this catheterization done I would not be here today.

Dr Samman is Avery good cardiologist. He always knows his patients. He was extremely helpful with my father when he was here. He has also helped me with heart issues

Dr. Samman has cared for my mom (Delores Ferry) for years! He is an excellent doctor who truly cares for his patients. I fully trust him with my mother’s life. And, will trust him with mine, if need be. I cannot recommend Dr. Samman enough! I’m sorry there were a few low stars (that appear to not even have seen or been his patients) that caused his overall score to be lowered. Trust me...he’s a full 5 stars! Dr. Samman saved my life 11 yrs ago, I was 51. I am going into the hospital in the next week or two, to have another Procedure done on my heart! I trust him with my life completely! I have refused to find another cardiologist Because in my opinion Dr. Samman Is the best Cardiologist In Galveston or Harris County! And his staff Is very kind caring helpful And very polite! Dr. Samman is a wonderful doctor! Once you get to know him (I've been seeing him for years), he becomes more friendly and caring toward you as a person, not just another patient. I have never really had any issues with staff until recently. I tend to agree with some of the reviews posted on here. Dr.Samman recently lost a wonderful M.A. (Hailey) and seems to be having a problem replacing her. It seems to take an act of congress to get through to anybody in the office or to get a call back! His office staff didn't even call me to tell me my surgery and pre op had been scheduled! The hospital called to confirm my appointment and that is how I found out. I feel bad for Dr. Samman because his last MA was always on top of everthing! I miss her and I'm sure he does too! I suggest that we all approach the doctor about the issues with his office staff. Dr Samman is such a caring person as a Dr my husband is a patient of his for the past 12yrs and I will recommend him to any one anytime .please Dr Samman call me about my husband test that he has done because your office has not call me S yet and my husband is not doing well thank you

Dr. Sammam is great. He listens to all your questions and concerns and doesn’t rush. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he really cares about his patients and loves his job.

2009 he save my life he is kind and always listing when you talk. many respect to him.

Dr Samman is amazing, unfortunately his office staff are the most unprofessional and down right rude group of people. If you want to be treated like a stupid idiot then go ahead and use them. If you prefer to be treated like a human being and have your lab results taken then find another Dr. I would suggest Dr. Rakesh Shah. Edited to add this review is in response to the way my father H Sands was treated along with myself as his MPOA, and his home health nurse at the time. And it still stands! Office manager was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever spoken too and no one in their office knows what the other one is doing. I am a medical professional myself and would never treat a patient the way we were treated! Dr Samman Is a great Dr got my blood pressure under control after one visit and one call, I spent thousands of dollars on unnecessary test and went through hell trying dozens of meds seeing other cardiologists and Drs ,only complaints I have are it sometimes takes days for call backs(not always) and once the medication that has got my Blood pressure under control ( Benicar) ran out the insurance does not want to pay for they will only provide the generic which does not work! I have ask Dr Samman to file an appeal back in June this was apparently not done although the automatic refills line was called and denied the Benicar ,this is not the proper way to go about it getting a medicine approved a written appeal needs filed! I hope the staff take care of this otherwise I will be stuck with High Blood pressure I am not going to torture myself trying more meds with all of the horrible side effects!!! Insurance companies are the Devil!! Best doctor in the entire world he even saved my life when I was 34 years old, I nearly died because of my heart attack. Thank god he was there to save me

Dr Samaan is amazing and is board certified in many fields. Cardiology, Cardiology Intervention, Internal Med and Nuclear Med. SMart funny caring and great bedside manner

Billing office and staff are the worst. Couldn't not care less about the patients! Don't go here , bad for the heart!

Worst MD EVER. No concern for patient well being and outcomes. Ill preppared and arrogant! Would not subject ANY human to such poor professionalism and disregard for humanity.

Been my doctor for years. Great job. Smart, insightful and caring. He is a busy guy and sometimes gets called away to do heart surgery, so you have to be prepared to be flexible sometimes with your office appointments

Dr. Samman took excellent care of me during my recent heart attack. He acted quickly and his intervention probably saved my life or at least prevented more damage.
