Dr. Pillai is kind, attentive, and truly cares for her patients. She answers questions and takes the time need for patients to get the answers they need.

Dr. Pillai is extremely caring. Her expertise is helping resolve a shoulder/rotator cuff condition that had become chronic. With complete confidence, I recommend Dr. Pillai.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Pillai was anything but 5 star. I saw her to evaluate a torn biceps tendon in my arm. She never introduced herself. She never took a medical hx, (I had two torn biceps muscles previously)never even asked how I was injured. She was abrupt and unprofessional. She never actually examined my arm. She tested my range of motion and asked if I had pain and from this she was able to conclude that I had a shoulder injury not a biceps injury. My biceps muscle had ruptured and if she had bothered to look she would have seen a huge popeye bulge in midway up my arm . She never bothered to look at the x-rays that I had brought from an urgent care facility. She was however adamant that I needed additional x-rays done by her facility. By the end of our brief appointment I had zero confidence in her as a clinician.

First visit with Dr. Pillal. Staff and doctor very friendly and caring. Dr. Pillal explained everything clearly in layman’s terms. Would highly recommend.

It was great! I went in with two problems instead of one and she was able to address both in the same day! She is a really good practitioner and listens and explains things very good and easy to understand.

She helped “cure” my rotator cuff with PT and didn’t recommend surgery. I was amazed that any surgeon wouldn’t want to operate! Very nice, listened to my concerns and even offered to look at a friend’s knee because the friend couldn’t get a straight answer from any ortho doc. I recommend Dr Pillai to everyone.

Dr. Pillai gave me ALL my options when I presented to her with a shoulder injury. As a 47 year old who is very athletic, I wanted to maintain optimal use and return to the same quality of life. She recommended surgery IF I wanted to continue doing the same activities. I opted for surgery for a labral tear and am now better than ever! A year later, resuming my normal activities and my shoulder is stronger. Great physician to go to with athletic related injuries! A big thanks to Dr. Pillai

I was very apprehensive about having shoulder surgery. Dr. Pillai and her staff, especially Lauren V., were very patient with me and accommodated my concerns. I feel fortunate that I had someone of Dr. Pillai's skill and expertise to do the surgery. Everyone, even my cardiologst, told me that I was in the best of hands, so I went into the procedure with 100% confidence. Dr. Pillai is excellent at pain management. It's been minimal a week out of the surgery.

Six weeks out from total shoulder replacement. Never needed prescription pain meds. All is progressing without issue. Dr. Pillai is an outstanding physician who takes time to answer all your questions, explain your treatment options and leaves you with confidence in her ability. Highly respected by hospital staff. Her office staff are also off the charts.

Dr. Pillai performed surgery on my left shoulder in March. I found her to be very professional and thorough. My shoulder feels great! Thank you!

I am so fortunate to have had Dr. Pillai as my surgeon for a reverse replacement of my left shoulder. I felt confident from the first visit and have never been disappointed. Dr. Pillai did such a good job with my shoulder surgery that I was pain-free almost immediately and have remained that way for this entire year. I always felt I could contact Dr. Pillai and her staff with any problems or questions. Dr. Pillai is always interested, involved and reassuring. I definitely recommend Dr. Pillai.

I injured my shoulder and Dr. Pillai got me in to see her the same day. The office staff were all very nice. She was very thorough and efficient. We tried to avoid surgery at first with therapy but when that didn't work I had surgery on my shoulder. I did therapy for a few months after and am now doing great and back at the gym. I would highly recommend her.

My recommendation is to stay away from this doctor. She is not friendly, lacks professionalism, and is downright incompetent. She did my rotator cuff surgery last year and it never healed properly. I had it redone in FL and the dr found that not only did she miss one-half of a major tear (she only half fixed it), but she failed to reduce the bone spur enough so that it caused more shredding of the muscle. Thank heavens I found someone who was willing to repair her work.

By far the most experienced shoulder surgeon in the area. I was very pleased with both her surgery and the staff at Bebee - and I am generally not a fan of Bebee health care or most local physicians. She did not discount my complaints of pain immediately post surgery, and was very comforting and concerned for me.

I would recommend Dr. Pillai to anyone needing the services of an orthopedic doctor. She is fast and efficient, yet takes time to explain problems in detail. The office is also well run and a pleasure to visit.

On the first visit she was thorough and seemed to get right to the issue. I appreciated not having to go through multiple tests. She explained my issue and promoted therapy that would hopefully correct my challenge. Easy to talk to.

She was very rude, when I asked questions I didn't understand she got an attitude...she called out other doctors,to me she acted like she is better then everyone...

Quick appointment. Between not waiting for long in the waiting room, the x-ray techs were fast and the review of outcomes by Dr. Pillai is very professional and on point. Overall great experience.
