Dr. Gregg S. Hallman

I still see Dr. Hallman for follow up appointments dealing with the bladder cancer he treated and is taking care of for me. Very professional and very knowledgeable.

I saw Dr. Hallman's nurse practitioner today and have to say it was a great experience. The staff, from office personnel to the nurses, were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend their practice.

The front office staff are like a bunch of Nazi soldiers and treat everyone like they are idiots. They never smile, they act like they do not care about the patient and are never helpful. All in all they are just rude. Dr Hallman has only one person in his group that should be paid and her name is Lucinda. They tell u where to have your blood drawn and when to call their office for results. Lucinda always follows they. The other nurses are rude and do NOT care about their patients. They hate even making eye contact. They tell u where to go to have your labs drawn and when to call for results. When you do, the nurse tells us we apparently did not know where we were at or what we were doing. I explain where we were at and give exact details. She calls us back two hours later with a sneer in her voice. She said she finally found his labs. She gave me results for a BUN and CREATININE. I told her we only had a creatinine and a GFR that had been ordered. She said we had no GFR done like I was stupid. Then when we went to primary care internal medicine doctor the following week they called Southeast hospital at Dexter and they faxed the results of his GFR and creatinine. The nurse in the office lied to us. Totally lied. The results she gave to us were extremely important to us for my 82 year old father and the condition of his kidneys. I would not recommend this hateful group to anyone to take their loved ones to. The doctor is extremely smart but acts like he has no time for you and wants to hurry thru your visit without answering all your questions. I am not asking for him to spend the day, but please answer our questions. He relies too much on his nurse practitioners who I have NO respect for at this time. I had been referred by several people to this doctor, however I have been very disappointed with our experience with his office staff. Dr. Hallman did robotic surgery for bladder "tuckup." All went amazingly well. No pain afterward at all, ever. Surgery solved all my bladder and urination problems.

He’s all about the surgery. But you can forget any bedside manners for after care or cancer recommendation treatment.

Family member was scheduled to have bladder sling surgery. 18 hrs without anything to drink, 48 hrs with nothing to eat, and 4.5 hrs waiting. She was prepped for surgery and given calming med. The anesthesiologist came and was reminded of aneurysm surgery and clips in brain. Without the anesthesiologist, the surgery would have been done with the risk of a stroke or death. This doctor didn't take the risks inconsideration nor her health history before scheduling this type of surgery.

In November last year i got my prostate surgery done with Dr. Gregg Hallman at the South East Hospital in Cape Girardeau Before the surgery Dr. Hallman took very good care of me by enplaning everything about my sickness and how he would take care of it with the surgery. Also he explained what he would do what gave me everything to be in my comfort zone. I can really recommend Dr. Hallman for his work and super service. Thank you very much
