Fantastic doctor!!!

Dr. Climaco is a phenomenal family physician. He has amazing bedside manner that's warm and genuine. He is extremely knowledgeable on everything he assists with. He makes convoluted information easy to digest. Dr. Climaco stays on his patients needs and does not give up on them. His approach is calm and nurturing yet assertive and direct. My husband and I have/are achieving all of our health related goals under Dr. Climaco's care. I lost 45 lbs in 6 months following his plan for me....My husband lost over 50 lbs modestly following Dr. Climaco's dietary suggestions. We are doing great overall. I contribute it to being under Dr. Climaco's great care and doing my part in the process. I have several specialists, but I have all of their suggestions passed by my PCP 1st - who is Dr. Climaco. Dr. Climaco is very receptive and attentive to the patient's needs. He is my family physician and I will not go to anyone else.

Absolutely wonderful Family Doctor! My husband and I had been patients for many years when my children’s pediatrician stopped accepting their insurance. Dr. Climaco and his staff already knew our 3 children from our appointments we knew it would be good temporary transition. From their first appointment I knew it was not going to be temporary, everyone has handled their special needs so wonderful and has even allowed my son’s service dog to come to his appointment. Dr Climaco is attentive and has always taken the best care of myself and my wife. The staff is friendly and willing to help.

Dr Climaco makes you feel comfortable and Is easy to talk to about health concerns.

After our longtime physician left for greener pastures we decided to go to Dr. Climaco. For years we (my wife and I) had a prescription for Claritin D 24. After after filling this prescription multiple times and spending twenty minutes on the phone with Dr. Climaco explaining that we have tried every combination of decongestants and that Claritin D was the only thing that worked he agreed to continue the prescription. Except he didn’t. This an over the counter drug and the prescription was for convenience only. When I called his office to enquire why he wouldn’t write the prescription his secretary told me that I needed to find another physician. If you want to be overcharged be swamped with unnecessary lab costs, a rude bed side manner. Then Dr. Climaco is your guy. My health is complicated, at best. Most doctors blow me off, make gross assumptions about my character, and shove me out the door without so much of an attempt to help me. Dr. Climaco is the first dr who has actually fought to find solutions, both temporary and permanent, so I don't have to suffer and can have some quality of life. He listens, he cares, and he has my best interest at heart. I used to cancel so many dr appointments because I would have panic attacks getting ready to go, knowing how I'd be treated. I no longer dread going to the dr, and drive 90 minutes one way to see Dr. Climaco. He's a godsend, and all healthcare providers should shadow him and take notes on how to treat patients! My son and I have been a patient of Dr. Climaco's for at least 8 years. We have usually been seen quickly when needed, and he has been a fairly well doctor. I suffer a lot with sinus and bronchitis issues. This season (spring 2020) has especially been bad, and to make matters worse it is during a pandemic that causes respiratory issues. I called the office a couple of days ago because I believed my son to have a UTI, and while making his appointment, I thought I would make myself one to have my lungs heard, and check up. I mentioned that I felt a little wheezing and coughed up some phlegm in the morning. This isn't unusual for me at all. This season allergies are very bad and I suffer. The person who answered the phone, Sherri, said she would have to check and get back with me. That I may have to do a virtual visit and find someone to bring my son in. I called back around two that day for an update as we were planning on going to the meat market, but if we could get into the doctor, then I would reschedule my plans and head right down the street to the doctor's office. When I called back, Sherri told me that I would need to find someone else to bring my son in for a urine sample, and that I would need to go see a respiratory doctor. I explained that I had no one else to bring my son, and that I have been a patient for several years with these same issues. I had no fever, I had no chills, I have been sheltered in place, and I had no symptoms of COVID-19. I was concerned going elsewhere as I am most likely high risk with my already existing conditions, but she proceeded to tell me that I needed to go where all the COVID patients were being seen, and she knows that my sons grandma has taken him to several appointments, so I should just call her to take him. I was very baffled and thrown back. I understand the concerns, but I have been a patient for almost a decade with the same symptoms each year at various times. I could not believe she was being so rude. I have been very scared and rely on my doctor who I have known and have trusted for so long, but was turned away, and in such a rude/obnoxious manner. This time is very hard for people like me who suffer from allergies and bronchitis. It's a very scary time for us. I am mortified at the treatment I received. I would understand had I of had symptoms of COVID 19, and I would also understand if they chose not to see me in the office, but maybe had doctor Climaco reach out to me, or at least treat me for bronchitis. I know my body, and I know that if they pulled my file they would see the ongoing issues. Especially since he recently ordered me a pulmonary test for Asthma. Which I have scheduled to take later this month. Anyway, I'm very disappointed to say the least. Unfortunately this action has caused me to change doctors. I see my new doctor next week. Get this, I told them the same thing and my history, and they are seeing me.... My son is very upset. He loves Dr. Climaco and the comic book exchanges, but I can't stay with an office that would let me down especially at a time like this. There was no empathy, no understanding, and no resolution, but just plain rudeness. Wish you well Dr. Climaco.

Dr. Climaco is outstanding. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to listen. I would recommend him to anyone who desires outstanding personal medical service.

Dr. Climaco is FANTASTIC! He will ask lots of questions to get to the bottom of whatever issue you may be having. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and doesn't take any BS. His staff has always been professional, friendly, and quick. I have zero complaints!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Climaco's for over 2 years now. We have found him to be an exceptional provider. Extremely thorough, listens, diagnosis is always "spot on" and he provides options for treatment along with his recommendation. I feel my overall health has improved as a direct result of his guidance and care. We have found the staff to be very responsive, professional, and helpful every time we've called.

Family friend Great Doctor

Very good family doctor and overall good man.

Exceptional doctor. Was very leery about switching doctors when my previous family doctor retired, but Dr. Climaco is fantastic. Takes time to listen to what your issue is, and does a very graduated and pragmatic approach to fixing the issue.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Climaco for over 2 years now and really like that he spends time talking to you about what is going on with your health. If you don't understand he will take the time to explain. Good bedside manner and we haven't had a problem with his staff.

Dr. Climaco is excellent. Very thorough, despite being exceptionally busy. Never experienced a problem with his staff. I have had trouble getting through, but when i do, i always get a call back that day.

Dr. Climaco is great very funny and spends time w/the patient. However, his staff is horrible. Liz is very unprofessional. She has a terrible bed-side manner, rude and disrespectful! She does not have a filter at all, says whatever comes to mind. She should obtain patient sensitivity training ASAP. A sick person does want to encounter rude staff members. The staff had a very negative impact on the experience.

Myself and my child have been a patient of Dr. Climaco's for over 4 years. I like Dr. Climaco as a doctor, but his office staff is not very friendly, and they do not EVER return phone calls. Also, Dr. Climaco requires a visit and will not prescribe any medication over the phone even if you have a documented history with him.
