Dr. Gregory P Garcia

I’m 78 years old, and I have had many primary doctors over that span. I’ve seen dr. Garcia for 7 years, and he’s the best I’ve ever had.

Fantastic Medical Doctor ! My Primary Physician for the past Twenty years !!

Dr. Garcia gave me some information on how to alleviate some of the pain from my fall onto my back. His suggestions have really helped I haven't how do use a cane for three days while in the house.

Dr. Garcia is a great doctor. I enjoy our visits. He always listens carefully and checks with my records for additional information.

It was my first visit with Dr Garcia and I was pleased. He had reviewed my chart and knew some of my background which made it easier for me. It was a good appointment for me.

Easy to speak with and clear

Dr. Garcia listens to what I report to him regarding general health issues & also what effects, if any, prescribed meds have on me. Easy to talk with.

When I get an appointment the appt. Is always great - but it is SO difficult to get one - put on hold for hours - have to hang up because I am in a senior residence and we can't have our phones on during meals - then have to start over - and often IF the dr returns my call on the day I call, HIS call comes during my mealtime - I have sometimes waited MANY DAYS before I could actually talk to someone who could schedule me an appt. I LOVE DR. GARCIA - HE IS THE BEST - sometimes the asst has been difficult to work with.

Dr. Garcia always has the time to help you with whatever your needs are. Good, concerning, always willing to try and help.

My care with this provider has been exceptional.

Dr Garcia has twice suggested a different form of several meds that have literally turned my quality of life aroundfrom difficult to far better.

This was my first visit with Dr. Garcia and he was outstanding. I could not be more impressed.

I did not see my regular doctor - I was worked into the schedule. Dr. Garcia seemed rushed and like I was irritating him somewhat.

Per your previous question, we did in fact refer a friend to Dr Garcia. She is now a patient and very happy with her choice.

Dr. Garcia is relaxed, engaged, helpful in addressing questions, having no significant issues, visits are fairly routine, when asked about things like skin keratosis or shoulder pain he said I was getting old, which at 57y is not fun, :) so he managed my expectations with humor and a shared sense of what he does to increase range of motion for shoulder stiffness/pain, He Is very open to listen, and less inclined to suggest a cause. But as I said routine visits likely feel a bit awkward because I don't have any major complaints for him to solve. So all in all, he's a great guy, and easy to talk with, manages time well, never rushed. Team is also very professional fast smooth flow from arrival to exit, including Lab services.

If I could rate zero stars I would! Horrible people skills. He just walk in ur room goes straight to the computer then blames whatever ur issue is on u. Have to almost beg before he seems to throw some pills at u and hes done! Horrible just have no other words to describe him and his failure as a doctor!!!

I read the Healthgrades reviews for Dr Garcia and wasn't planning on seeing him due to that alone, but nobody with high scores was accepting new patients and my primary care physician retired so i had no choice. His reviews on providence are very good, but I wasn't sure if those could be manipulated so I was still nervous. I saw him today, and afterwards, re-read these reviews here about him for a 2nd time. I honestly feel like they were written about someone else. He spent lots of time with me, answered all my questions, gave me insight into some issues I was having and sent me a referral for a condition I have, got my prescriptions set up. He was super friendly and really seemed to care about me asking about my family, what i did for a living, etc. His team was punctual and I no delays whatsoever. It was a quick in and out. Someone else may have had a bad experience, but none of that was like the experience I just had. I give him a solid 5 stars.

Very patient and compassionate toward my 98-year old father. Showed genuine interest so that he felt he was really being listened to.

There is not enough room here to describe the totally negative, unprofessional, disgraceful attitude he projected. It was obvious from the very beginning he had an Agenda (even though he had never ever met me before) Potentially establishing care with a physician usually comes with guidelines, none of them were met. It came as no surprise that his report (which is seen by any & all future physicians is untrue & damaging to me & causes great concern that he is supposed to be a geriatric Dr.)

Dr. Garcia is extremely knowledgeable about geriatric health. He allows his patients to try alternative modalities if they request and offers western medicine choices. I have found him to be a very caring and progressive doctor.
