Dr. Gregory Lee Goding

Hello ... This is Greg Hanson ... I cannot say enough good things about the girls in the office. Especially Katie who found me a surgeon for tooth extractions the very next day after my regular visit when all other surgeons were saying 5 to 6 weeks before they could do it. Jill, Greg Goding and Carsa were also very good. I have truely found the best dentistry office in maine!!! Thank you again Katie!!! Can't imagine waiting 5 weeks with the pain I had.

Had a nice, relaxing visit with Dr. Goding and staff. After being MIA for 5 years, I had a full set of x-rays and thorough exam, plus a printed treatment plan, all within one hour. Great people there!

Quick appt and they were able to squeeze me in earlier due to tooth pain. So thankful.

So happy to be back with the best hygienist ever, Jeanne Cook, and a new-to-me dental practice that is professional, personable, and caring. After a brief relationship with another practice that had an impersonal “industrial” vibe, Pineland Dentistry is like coming home again. Dr. Goding’s team is the very best at what they do!

Had a great experience here with my young daughter. Katy was so kind and patient. They all did a great job and were very welcoming as soon as we walked through the door!

Best dentist I have been to in my whole life. Very fast and was able to fit me in the same day I had a problem . Would highly recommend them to anyone .

Dr. Goding is not only an exceptional dentist he is also an excellent person. He extracted a rear lower molar and saved the day! He is calming and regards you as a person, not a paycheck. I cannot say enough of the staff...very kind and willing to help when you need it the most...overall my experience was by far one of the very best I have ever had and that's saying a lot about a dentist! Dr. Goding is involved and cares about his patients. He gave me a follow up call on the same evening of the extraction just to check in on me...exceptional as I said...many thanks to Dr. Goding and the staff there... Best dental practice! They are all so personable and friendly. They explain everything that they're doing and are 100% thorough. My children don't even mind going for their check-ups. If you are nervous or have ever had a bad dental experience I highly recommend going to these guys ????

Absolutely amazing staff!!

I visited this dentist once and got weird vibes from the hygienist. No big deal. My second cleaning was the most horrific and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Jeanne, the hygienist was rude, condescending, uninformative and seemed like she shouldn’t be working in this field any longer. She was rough on my teeth, mind you I’ve been getting cleanings every six months my ENTIRE life, so I know what a cleaning should be like. She left the room for 5+ minutes at a time, leaving me fully declined in the chair with no explanation. After I finally get out of the chair, I was asked to sign a treatment plan with all sorts of estimates on it. I’m a young person so I’m not experienced with these things. I asked Jeanne to explain this form and why I was asked to sign it. No explanation whatsoever, so I declined the “treatment plan.” To which I heard others talking about in the back room. I sent a letter to express my concerns and ask for my information to be forwarded to my new dentist. I wasn’t answered and my insurance wasn’t forwarded. Great 1st impression. The office was impeccably clean and comfortable.. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My 1st exam was thorough and their care plan for moving forward was comprehensive.

Such a great team - I’ve been going here for 5-6 years and am always very pleased!

My last visit here was unusually bad. My family receives good care here most of the time, so we won't be moving yet, but I won't recommend this dentist to anyone. I declined a service offered, due to cost, and the receptionist, hygienist, and dentist all loudly remarked on how much they disagreed with my decision from the next room, where I could clearly overhear them. I was surprised at this unusually unprofessional behavior. I expect better from my health care providers, specifically, respecting my ability to provide informed consent to or decline services offered. UPDATE: Dr. Goding called me on the phone at home after seeing my review, to maintain that he didn't "say anything" unprofessional. That does not excuse my experience in his office, and I found this phone call unsolicited and hostile. I spoke civilly to him. His tone was inappropriate and he took no accountability for his and his office's unprofessional behavior. He did not apologize to me. We will be switching dentists. I never thought I would be saying that I enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr. Goding and his staff are all people who make the experience great. The entire time I was there I felt very relaxed, even the music made me feel like dancing!

Dr. Goding is a wonderful, informative, talented and caring dentist. The staff treat their patients like family and the office atmosphere is amazing. I’m so excited my family decided to switch to this office. They were professional up to date on Covid protocols which was very important to us. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was very informative. We love Dr. Goding! The kids were so happy he was nice and everyone made us feel like family. If I could give more stars I would! Overall, Dr. Goding and the staff are very friendly and professional, conscientious of COVID, and the setting on the Pineland campus is perfect.

I’ve gone to Pineland Dental for ? 10 or more years and never had a complaint or concern about my teeth or the care I receive. ????

My hygienist is very friendly and gets my teeth feeling cleaner than any other place I have been to in the past. In general the office is bright, everyone is friendly.

I needed an emergency visit for a broken tooth and my dentist of 10 years could not squeeze me in. I called Pineland Family Dentistry and they were able to get me in. Needless to say I have a new dentist and I really liked him! Everyone in the office was great and all made me feel welcome and like I’ve been going there for years

Always a thorough visit. Office is very clean, professionalism at it finest here. The entire team here is always amazing. Dr Goding is always friendly, and there is never a rushed feeling there. All around great team!

This dentist office is the best I have ever gone to, wherever I've lived in the past 66 years. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and I've never had a bad experience there in my 10+ years as a patient. I once broke a crown on a day they were closed and, because Dr. Goding provides his personal phone number, I contacted him and he agreed to meet me at his office to do a temporary fix to get me through the weekend. He subsequently replaced the crown free of charge, telling me it should not have broken and, since he put it in a year or two earlier, he would stand behind his work. I don't think you can ask for more than that, in terms of patient service. I highly recommend Pineland Family Dentistry. This dentist office is the best I have ever gone to, wherever I've lived in the past 66 years. I was a little nervous about changing to a new dental practice but I was tired of traveling a busy highway to just south of the Portland area for my dental work. I was soon put at ease with the welcoming staff and gorgeous office. The most important considerations were also met with the highest marks as the techniques, safety and equipment were of the highest standards and quality. I seriously felt as though I had never experienced such a thorough cleaning and was satisfied that all my concerns were addressed without feeling rushed. It doesn’t hurt that the office overlooks Mt Washington, NH in the distance(on a clear day) and that the parking is in abundance on the beautiful Pineland Farms campus. I have been retired and out of the area for over a year, I called them when I broke a partial plate. Debbie pulled my paperwork together and within an hour I had an appointment scheduled for two days out. Amy went over the options for the plate and we discussed how that would affect me. Service like this is rare in today's world and I don't think I will be able to find another Dentist to take care of me like they do. Guess I will be taking trips back to Maine for my dental care. Okay...no one wakes up in the morning excited to go to the dentist. Not sure why... Pineland Family Dentistry is a unique experience. I spent some time in the waiting room completing my paperwork. During the time I was there, three patients came into the room - each of them were greeted by name and made to feel welcomed at this practice. The team at Pineland Family Dentistry is professional, engaging and concerned with their patients. VERY refreshing approach. I don't think I will get up tomorrow and want to rush back, but I know that when I visit in six months, they will remember me. Well Done. Participated in an implant and crown procedure. Communication with Practice was very poor with lots of inconsistent excuses when contact was finally made. Attempts were made by phone and e-mail but questions went unanswered. I was left in mid procedure with no communication. I fired him.

I was many months into an implant and crown procedure and had phone call and e-mails ignored by the practice. Too many excuses then given. I fired him.

They were friendly, remembered details about me, made me laugh, and were extensively helpful when my insurance information was incomplete.

Service was good, but billing practices are shady to say the least. I have been fighting over a bill with them for 2 years now, because they tried to bill me for 2 cleanings on the same day. I went in for a cleaning and checkup, and they said that I needed to use my insurance benefit up before the end of the year. So after the morning cleaning, they had me come back for an afternoon cleaning, which seemed strange to me at the time, but was told this was an extra deep cleaning. The insurance company would not pay for the second cleaning, and the dentist has been billing me for it for 2 years now, and have turned it over to a collection agency. It seems that I am being made to pay for their fraudulent practices. Service was good, but billing practices are shady to say the least.
