Ineffective treatments. When a paralyzing shot was suggested for my neuralgia pain, he said they could get it, but I would have to pay cash for it and they would store it. I had insurance that covered this product. I quit seeing him after that.

Dr. Gullo is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I have a condition I was born with that causes quite a lot of pain. Dr.Gullo is one of the few doctors that I feel has ACTUALLY listened to me and heard what I was saying. He has always worked with me as opposed to some physicians that decide what the plan for you is without considering what you may want.

Dr. Gullo is the best Dr. I've seen in a long time! He listens, and with the few minutes he's with you, he comes up with really good suggestions, and he takes the time to explain what he thinks should be done and why and what to expect! He's just simply the BEST!

I was a patient at Dr. Gullo’s clinic for approx 10 years. I have lupus, CRPS, fibro, & more. I was passed from PA to PA approx 5/6 times due to turnover. I would establish a great relationship, only to have to start over. I ran into problems when I was switched, yet again to PA Dale Lee. Between my 2nd & 3rd appt w/him, I fractured my right heel & shattered my left heel & ankle. Shortly after, I was DX with CRPS. Suddenly, I was treated like an addict, when PA’s before him never reported any issues. Mr. Lee told me & husband at 4th appt, I was no longer welcome, I violated my contract. I did not! I firmly believe Mr. Lee didn’t know how to handle my case with the new, severe injuries & diagnosis. He also told my Dr, I could no longer get injections from Dr. Gullo. WOW! I don’t feel a brand new PA should have so much say, while the established patient has none. All attempts to reach Dr. Gullo by myself & my Dr. we’re met w/interference by Mr. Lee. It’s Gullo’s practice, right?

Du Gullo has always taken the time to answer any questions I have asked He is so kind . I would not want anyone else doing my injections or ablaision therapy. I trust him. I will have to say making appointments and playing phone tag was very irratating and have been quite a bit better now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gullo's for almost 6 years, and he has changed my life for the better. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for him and his amazing staff. Cannot say enough good things about this doctor! 5 stars!!

Dr Gullo was very thorough in his examination and took the time to understand my situation. He was compassionate and showed he cared about me as a patient. His staff knew exactly what to do and what questions to ask. My second visit was with his PA who was understanding and compassionate. Dr Gullo explained that if a patient had a problem with any of his providers to let him know as soon as possible. This office and practice is very busy and over seeing it would be more than a full time job.

I totally agree with the last review. From the receptionist to the doctor himself, they were rude with a "talk down to me" attitude. I think I hired them, they didn't hire me. I am 67 years old and have never been treated like this before in my life from any doctor or girl handling the phones. I had to stand and wait while the receptionist was looking at jewelry. Then I was told I was late - which actually I was right on time for my appointment. I have had a chronic bad back, which I have endeared the pain on a daily basis, for over 30 years. I have gone through all the treatments, mri's, physical therapy and was put on disability for the last 5 years of my working life because of my back injuries. It is all well documented. Because of the stricter prescription laws and my family doctors,' of 20 years, retirement, I was instructed to see a pain specialist by my new family doctor to continue the pain medication. I take one pain pill every night before going to bed - part of a program along with acupuncture, exercises for my back and a occasional marijuana edible that was prescribed to me by a naturalopath doctor. After 30 years - this program developed for me works the best. Dr. Gullo was rude/abrupt and questioned me as if he thought I was lying. Then he wanted me to go through a program with xrays, physical therapy, etc. AGAIN, before he would continue with my prescription that I have been on for the past 10 years. He made me feel like I was pill popping grandmother looking for free drugs. I have spent 30 years going to dr.'s, etc. to try to help manage my pain but I agreed to go through it all again to PROVE that I was just not in there for drugs. My god, to receive disability and the fact that I take one pain pill a day should have been his first clue. The way I was treated was ridiculous and insulting. I would not sign the paper stating that I could never have a glass of wine or any edible marijuana for the rest of my life. I guess this is why people lie to doctor's? By the time he got through poking and prodding my back - I left and got home with more back pain than I have experienced in years. And, without any medication. I eat an edible "maybe" once a month if the pain is horrific on any particular day. So, because of this doctor, I will be living the rest of my life, unless I can get a 2nd opinion, in major pain. He just undid what was developed for me by tons of doctors over the past 30 years, by interrupting a medication that has been very helpful in controlling my pain. Reading the last review, I guess he will now probably be writing a report that I am a marijuana user which I am not. Do not go to this doctor. He's got the "I'm a doctor" disease and should probably sit back and enjoy a marijuana cookie to calm himself. BTW - the only reason I gave him 1 star is because this review would not post unless I gave him a star. No stars. I totally agree with the last review. From the receptionist to the doctor himself, they were rude with a "talk down to me" attitude. I think I hired them, they didn't hire me. I am 67 years old and have never been treated like this before … More

They charged me appx.18000.00 to put two wires in my back for a weekend trial of a back stimulator. I think that is excessive. They did it in his office, and it took less than an hour. What my ins. didn't pay. I paid back at 50.00 a month until the office manager told me to pay the bill off or I couldn't see the doctor. I fired them and got another pain doctor to go to. When I paid the bill off I paid them fifty dollars and five cents too much. The office manager refuses to reimburse me the over Payment. It's been going on for five months! The billing dept. Has talked to her several times to no avail. I will never ever see these jerks again! Oh by the way the pa. for him sent a note to my new doctor along with my records saying that I was a marijuana user! Obviously I get drug tested often. Gee,no marijuana in me. I truly despise these people! They charged me appx.18000.00 to put two wires in my back for a weekend trial of a back stimulator. I think that is excessive. I been to his office for years, recently he hired new NP Mark Charlton to replace his previous NP she was very helpful but this new NP was horrible, he ordered many injections and changed my medications to different dosages and prescribed different type of medications within 3-4 months and my pains were worst than ever before; I am just too tired of this new NP! Dr. Gullo was very kind if your appointment is scheduled with Dr. but with his NP was a horrible unacceptable practices!

Dr Gullo is a great doctor but once you see him and get passed off to his NP your care gets flushed and you are now in the care of a man who thinks he is God. He will treat you like a liar and a user with little regard to compassion and your pain. If you want to have your world turned upside down and be treated like an animal go ahead and see this provider. FYI, also once you are in you will be forced to use his lab, his PT office and asked to use his PhArma, and see his wife the psychiatrist

Worst pain clinic I have been to. They offer no over the phone help or medication management, even if you had been in the day before and they need to change your medication, you are required to come back for ANOTHER office visit, but they are always over booked, which leaves you high and dry and with out proper medication until you can get back in. They have a high turn over of Dr.s and medical assistants. Dr. Gullo was arrogant and condescending. I would never recommend this pain clinic.
