Very efficient and thorough. Dr. McCormick and the staff of the surgery center were both excellent.

My experience with all of the staff was positive and professional.

Recently got LASIK with Dr. McCormick and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone thinking about getting LASIK. I’ve had glasses since 4th grade, contacts since 7th and had pretty horrible vision. I had been nervous about the procedure and am so glad I finally did it. Dr. McCormick and the entire staff were so wonderful answering all of my rational and irrational questions and made me feel so comfortable. The procedure was quick and painless!

Just completed my 2nd eye cataract removal and lens replacement. First was 2 years prior. Both done by Greg McCormick/Ophthalmic Consultants. Dr. McCormick was excellent both in the office and during the cataract surgeries. Went from -6 diopter correction to 20:20 vision both times.

My optometrist highly recommended Dr. McCormick, and I'm so glad I took his advice. Dr. McCormack and his entire staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes, and now have crystal clear vision for distance. I can't thank Dr. McCormick and his staff enough for their excellent care.

All of the staff were very professional and pleasant. They were exceptional and very thorough and made me very relaxed and comfortable.

Cataract surgery is like a miracle. Dr McCormick was amazing.

I felt comfortable and confident with the preparation for my procedure and the procedure itself. Everything was explained as it progressed.

Super friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff! I am not a person who looks forward to any doctors visits, let alone surgeries but this group was so professional at making their patients feel at ease from start to finish. 5 stars

Very down to earth, took the time to explain everything and address all concerns. I felt very comfortable and assured of the entire process.

Dr. McCormick performed cataract surgery on my right eye 1 1/2 years ago. I developed a film that recently required a laser procedure. All is well and I'm satisfied with the results.

I had Lasik a week ago and couldn't be happier. The whole team was amazing. All my questions were answered, I felt well cared for and the procedure went smoothly. I would definitely recommend the practice.

I am so happy with my experience having my Cataracts removed. I was made very comfortable Dr. McCormick is so knowledgeable I was amazed how well his Staff worked with him in such a timely manner.

I'm completely satisfied with the services I received at Ophthalmic Consultants. Dr. Shiple was great to work with - very competent and inspired confidence in his ability and experience, but also personable and down to earth. My cataract surgeries in both eyes went smoothly, and the results are nothing short of miraculous to me. I threw away my old glasses! I'll need new ones to correct astigmatism and provide bifocals for reading, but being able to see clearly at distance even without the glasses now is something I never could have dreamed of. I accompanied my 92 year old Mother to her appointment with Dr Lane. Dr Lane and her assistant were helpful, informative and supportive in getting my mother the treatments she needed. Everyone in the office is professional and personable Dr. McCormick answered each of my questions with patience, humor and kindness. This approach was relaxing and made the entire experience really superb.Highly recommend.

I was initially apprehensive about having surgery done on my eyes as it is such a delicate and fragile area of the body. On my first appointment I spent about 2-3 hours having my eyes checked to see if I was a good candidate for either LASIK or PRK. Everyone I interacted with in the office was very helpful and more than happy to answer any questions I had. In addition to that, multiple staff members asked me if I had any questions after they discussed results with me. I ended up being a candidate for either LASIK or PRK and decided to opt for moving forward with LASIK. My second appointment was pre-op care and the operation, which took place in a surgical suite in the office itself. Throughout the process everyone was very supportive. Though LASIK was not exactly a fun procedure, I felt very safe and confident in the providers' skills all along the way. Dr. McCormick and his OR girls were great. That was two weeks ago. Prior to this I had to wear glasses at all times to function. Words can't describe how amazing it is to wake up now and see the world clearly with just my own eyes. To me, you just can't put a price tag on being able to see unassisted. I also want to send a special thanks to Sam for helping me coordinate each step of the process, she is so sweet and made me feel very well cared for. Dr.McCormick is a true professional who displays great knowledge and skill. I had my second cataract surgery last week. With the team he has put together and his confident nature, I felt I was in very good hands. Bravo, Dr. McCormick.

Very professional staff. Sam and Ashley were so great to work with. I always left the office thinking that these people made me feel comfortable. The actual surgery was so fast and Dr McCormick is quite skilled and my left eye (just had one eye done) went from 20/50 vision to 20/15! Keep in mind it takes more time for near vision to fully heal. I work with screens (Dealer.com) and was glad to take a full week off before returning to screens 8 hours/day. Dr. McCormick is the most experienced cataract surgeon in the area and is the best! I understand that his partner is also excellent.

I had LASIK done at the office. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. They were very calming during the procedure. They explained every detail as it was happening so I knew exactly what was happening. I would use them again and have referred friends to them already!!!

Went in with 20/80 came out 20/15 Excellent crew, as long as you follow Dr's orders you'll be fine.

Dr McCormick took time to explain my options and respectfully answer my questions. He is friendly, kind and a masterful surgeon with loads of experience. I highly recommend him.

I appreciate the time that Dr. McCormick took to explain the process and assure me. He didn't seem rushed. He was professional, but relaxed, so that relaxed me. It's one week after my first surgery and all is working well. I can't wait till next week when the second surgery take place!

Without a doubt the best experience I have ever had at any doctors office ever. I went in for LASIK and my eyes are amazing. They entire staff is soooo supportive and welcoming and he was incredible. I would rate this 6 stars if I could. Will forever recommend this place. Thank you so much for my new eyes.

After cataract surgery, I can’t read anything. Dr. McCormick exhibits little sympathy. His front desk staff is nice, which is why I gave him 2 stars. His medical assistants seem scared of him.

Dr. David Shiple was great.

You have a good office of nice, supportive staff, and very competent. The phone work is also efficient. COVID 19 measures, perfect. The paperwork, while copious, was clear. Now: I have a Master's Degree. I had two appointments with Dr. McC, and a short phone call ($175). I saw the Seven Days video clip. I spoke with associates there. There was a random questionnaire the morning of my pre-op (not in my packet),. And yet still, 2 weeks post-op now, I do not understand the choices I was given regarding lens option/vision options. It was confusing! Friends ask me, Did you go for the no-glasses choice, or far or near or...? I don't know! There was a mistake during the first pre-op (near), changed during the second (far). Perhaps, could I suggest, you need a Fact Sheet or explanatory note very early, in the packet, or possibly a video, or a better outline of the possibilities. Please ditch that questionnaire; no one read it or discussed it with me and it just sowed doubt into what I wanted and what I was to get. This is my main feedback. I know other patients are confused, too -- I was told as much while in your office and trying to figure out the glasses/no glasses/contact/far, near...Thank you for understanding! I was extremely pleased with my meeting with Dr. McCormick and both surgeries were quick and painless. Great team there at the Surgery Center. My only complaint was the waits for the follow-up appointments - waiting over an hour after the original appointment time is truly unnecessary; the second operation follow-up was not quite as long, but again close to 45 min. I understand emergencies come up but if they truly had a handle on the scheduling in the office, this should not happen!
