No one answers the phone, return calls, or give you test results!

Urology associates is a Professional,courteous, competent and caring practice. Not only for me but for all the patients they see. . I had prostate cancer and I could not have been taken care better by Dr. Dumont and Dr. Szlyk. I have great relationships with the staff there. They have so much compassion for me and my family! Cannot day enough good things about them.

Prompt appt , good bedside, made initial diagnosis and tried a few things but when symptoms did not resolve he lost interest and referred me to another doctor and specialty which had nothing to do with my original issue . Would have rated higher if showed more clinical acumen and interest.

Dr. Szlyk is very kind, caring and professional. Would recommend him as one of the best. We have to put our trust and faith into the doctors and with Dr. Szlyk we felt confident and in good hands. Easy to talk to and answered all questions.

Dr Szlyk, as is everyone at Urology Associates of Fredericksburg, is great. Thorough explanations, takes time to answer questions and provides valuable resources. Everything went exactly as I was told it would and I couldn't be more happy with the results. Confidence, compassion, professionalism and timeliness are evident every time you walk through the door.

Provides options and recommendations in terms that can be readily understood so the patient can make an informed decision as to the course of action they would want to take. Everything we discussed and went forward with actually resulted in a more favorable outcome than I anticipated.

Very thorough and professional individual. Listens to the patient's concerns to outline sound courses of action. Impartial. Strives to do what's best for the patient. HOWEVER, I would've preferred a little more insight based on his experiences instead of relying on web-based trials, white papers, and cancer center web sites. But in this day and age of malpractice suits, doctors are hesitant of going outside the mainstream in giving opinions and medical advice. Very thorough and professional individual.
