Dr. Gwendolyn L Dunmore

I have never in my life been treated as bad as they have treated me. The doctor was wanting to run test on me but when I asked what they were for she could not give me an answer. Her only response was because that’s how we do it and that she’s a license Dr. I don’t know about anyone else, but that didn’t answer my question I wanted to know what was going to be done to me and if I wasn’t provided with that information, I wasn’t gonna let it happen to me or my unborn baby. Also, they lie to you left and right. It has been six days since I had blood work done and they told me the results will be back within 24 to 48 hours and they would call me with the results but I’ve called for the past two days and they basically told me that it takes longer for the results to come in and that they will schedule me an appointment to go over everything when I told them that is not what I was told they told me that I was lying and that they would never say anything other than that. I do not appreciate being talked to or treated the way that I was treated there. I’ve never in my life experienced such a terrible experience with an OB. If you are wanting respect and a great doctor, I highly recommend going somewhere else other than there because they do not care about their patients, they only care about the money! I just wish I would’ve seen a review like this before I wasted my time and money going there. Oh and the doctors name is Jamiere Smith, but I wouldn’t call her doctor if it were up to me.

This has been years since I dealt with this doctor. When I was 18 I had gotten pregnant she wanted me to abort my baby! Then my father died she never cared or asked me am I ok or how to deal with death while pregnant. She was more concerned about other patients. So in the middle of my pregnancy I went to a different OB Dr. Fleming she was a nightmare so these 2 women were so horrible I never had anymore children from the horrible experience these 2 doctor's gave me all bc I was 18 I also stayed away from any female doctor! I only deal with male doctors (Dr. Holland in NC phenomenal) So please be careful picking out a doctor especially these female doctor's they not always the best! Thank you Dr. Dunmore for scaring me for life and also my son is 22yrs old he is such a blessing I hope you still don't advise young women to abort there babies. Very excited to work with her. I've only had one appointment with her thus far, but it was the best most detailed experience.

It wasnt a good experience with Dr. Dunmore while giving birth to my child. It was one of the worst experience of my life. Quite traumatizing. I need to get this off my chest. Now others may have had a good experience with her.I did not. She come off as nice when I was visiting her for pre-natal appointments but the labor experience was awful and the follow up.. She showed me a different side. I dont want any mother to be to experience the pain and deception I went through. Rethink your doctor.

I’m still in pain and my baby is now 8 months. I wish I never went to her it’s been a horrible experience. I started having doubts when it was too late. I was in labor and the first time I called her when I was at the hospital she had a “attitude” over the phone. Than there was the time where after I had the baby she told me she ordered my breast pump supposedly. But when I came to my appt she than decided to order it. Also there was no medication for me after I had my c section I was in the WORSE pain possible. I wanted to go back to the hospital because I’m how much pain I was. If I knew she wasn’t going to prescribe me anything at all I would’ve CHANGED my OB GYN to somebody else. I’m currently still having pain now so I’m so upset I chose her as my OB GYN. She doesn’t care if you’re in pain or not she just wants to do her job and GET PAID! Thats all and I would never recommend her to anybody. First time visiting this office and was a great experience. Friendly staff, clean office and A+ care from Dr. Dunmore who explained in detail every step of the process.

Dr. Gwendolyn is by far one of the best doctors. She delivered my daughter and is still currently my doctor. If you’re looking for a caring, knowledgeable and family oriented doctor, look no further because she’s absolutely all that and more. I could not have asked for a better doctor. Honestly, i felt like she didn't care to look further into my situation. I felt discriminated and felt the preference for certain individuals. For 6 months it was the same "solution"- Metformin. I ended up going to get a 2nd opinion only to find out i have hyperplasia with atypia... Precancer.

I think that she' is only interested in money, she does not care about the patient's health. I have 2 months that I got a mri and I do not know anything about the results, but I received it a bill a week after the exam. I do not recommend the doctor dummoore

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Dunmore!!! She is so sweet and caring and quite up-to-date on the latest medical advances. I totally recommend her!!!

I would totally trust Dr. Dunmore with my life! After finding out that I was pregnant at 40, she and her staff totally took wonderful care of me. Dr. Dunmore is a great doctor but her wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Each time I come I am not seen until 1.5-2 hours AFTER my appointment time and then feels like she rushes through the appointment.
