Hamed A Komaiha

After my five-day stay at Broward Health North (the third one in three months), I was discharged with a midline inserted to continue IV antibiotics treatment at home for seven more days. I was also referred to Dr. Komaiha. After leaving the hospital on November 16, I tried to contact Dr. Komaiha's office but the auto-attendant never connected me to a live person or allowed me to leave a message. However, I managed to leave messages with their answering service. It is November 23 and I am still trying to set up and appointment with Dr. Komaiha because nobody from his office called me back. I am scheduled for the removal of the midline in two days and I still have no word from the infectologist on whether to continue or suspend the IV treatment. This is not acceptable.

Great bedside manner... A very good listener... May have saved my leg/life... When other tests did not show infection.. Dr Komaika ordered a MRI... Listening to me about my injury and pain. Thank you Thank you... Now I start treatment. I cannot thank this man enough!

Sometimes you are surprised by the most unexpected of situations in life, and Mrs. Janelle from Phone customer service for Dr. Hamed is one of those experiences that no one will soon forget. Firstly, her calm demeanor was coupled with a great sense of awareness for her job responsibilities and proper chain of command, which was Outstanding! She was helpful, kind, collected and very attentive to details as I explained and requested information. I was in a Coral Springs Medical Center (Broward Health) with Covid Pneumonia. Dr. Komaiha was assigned to me. Besides just checking the normal vitals and lung sounds he always took an extra step in seeing how my mental state was. We would have conversions that required some thinking, obviously determining my emotional/mental state. I could tell with talking to him he read my body language to factor in my breathing difficulty. It was just so professional to not be rushed during this time. Doctor K made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. 5 stars across the board

Best Doctor of Infectious Disease you will ever meet. So dedicated to his patients. He is easy to talk to and takes time explaining everything to you. His patients adore him.

Dr. Komaiha has helped me with multiple sicknesses over the years including a chronic bronchitis. He has always been very caring and compassionate. He will explain everything and answer all your questions patiently. I never once felt like a number to him unlike other doctors in this practice.

THE OFFICE IS BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL ! They were rude and refused to treat the patient who was under Dr. Komaiha's care during the hospital stay and refused follow up care. Then they give you hidden fees/balances and state "they forgot".

Very and knowledgeable caring physician. Unlike any physician I've ever met. Exceptional!

Dr.Komaiha treated my wife while at Northwest Hospital in Margate. She had a bad infection in her left leg, apparently cellulitis. Dr. Komaiha prescribed IV antibiotics, correctly, in the hospital, however he discharged her much too early, with only oral antibiotics, which had no effect at all. She had to be readmitted to another hospital, where she was on IV antibiotics for 3 days, after which she was discharged with an additional 14 days of IV antibiotics. She is only improving now.

I think patients should be careful in leaving reviews. Dr Komaiha is wonderful! Very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. He is s an awesome doctor and know his stuff. Yes the office staff may need work. But please don’t let this reflect on the excellent doctors in this practice!,,,

Dr. K was my physician while I was in the hospital for 40 + days receiving treatment. It seem he came to check on me daily, he gave me healthy tips and answered all of my questions with sincerity. Dr.Komaiha thank you so much. Forever grateful. Always your friend and patient, Quincy

He was assigned to my mother at Broward North Hospital in Pompano Beach. He is a wonderful doctor! Very kind and patient. He explained everything throughly about my mother’s diagnosis and treatment. He had a warm and empathetic bedside manner. I see he is truly an empathetic physician that is here to help his patients and their families.
