Dr. Hania B. Bednarski

When she did my breast cancer surgery in 2011, at Anderson Hospital, in Illinois, she cut so much off my tissue, my skin died. I ended up with an infection and spent 28 days in the hospital. She also flaunted her breast "assets" in front of my husband and teenage son. How insensitive if her to do that, when I, as a patient, lost my ability to feel like a total woman, thru cancer.

I went to Dr. Bednarski for a second opinion. She was professional, thorough, knowledgeable, truly listened, and offered her advice. She impressed us so much, I ended up transferring my care over to her from Wash U/Siteman, and I thank my lucky stars every day for her care/treatment. She truly is a blessing. Her office staff is phenomenal too.

Dr was nice intake nurse was snarky. Wouldn’t let me accompany my wife of thirty years back for a biopsy. Geesh I’ve been through child birth with her, but all she could say it’s their rules. After 30 yeats of marriage I want to be there for emotional support at least. Every other procedure she has ever had done I was there.

I have been seeing Bednarski for about 2 years now and she is excellent! We had a little bump in the road at the beginning with communication but once we sat down talked things over everything from then on went smoothly. She is well knowleged in what she does and takes her time to answer questions. Dealing with breast cancer is scary enough but having a doctor take her time with you helps making the ordeal easier.

She is an outstanding doctor - very thorough and takes her time to talk things over and listen to concerns. I know I'm under excellent - and I mean excellent care.

Nasty piece of work. No respect for patients and her professional attitude was subpar.

I couldn't have wished for a better surgeon to take care of me during my breast cancer. Dr. Bednarski is incredible - caring, professional, and skilled. She helped make a scary, awful thing less scary and awful. I cannot recommend her highly enough and feel lucky to have had her as my doctor.
