Dr. Hanul Srinivas Bhandari

I saw this doctor because I use a bi-pap machine and needed to get a new one. Even though I've used it for years and have all the data from the machine I was told the data is "too old" and I needed to rent an at home kit from him for 3 days to do a new study during which i could not use my machine. I told them I cannot sleep at all without it and I'd prefer to do the study at a center where my sleep would be monitored. They declined because they don't make money that way. They actually said that. They also spent most of my appointment trying to sell me green laser treatments for weight loss. A nurse tried to tell me that I also have insomnia, despite me repeatedly telling i don't. Bottom line is this place wants to treat you in the way that makes them the most money, not the way that is best for you. Not only do I not recommend him, I don't think he should even be practicing medicine at all.

The only time I saw Dr H. Bhandari was at the 1st appointment and after that mythe rest of my aapointment were with NP. I won't go back. My Appointment was at 2:00 pm ,I didn't get called til 3:30pm.in my opinion it's an insult to keep a patient that long as a result I asked for my patient records and good luck to all his patients.

After taking the sample medication and finding it to be ineffective, I messaged the new provider and wished to be put back on the original treatment plan. The provider ignored my wishes and refused to do anything. I called the office and made an appointment with a different provider. This provider agreed to follow original treatment plan and agreed to prescribe my medication. However, my pharmacy never received my prescription. After portal messages going unanswered and calling the office, my prescription was finally sent. Upon picking it up I realized I was prescribed the wrong dosage. Again, messages were unanswered. After leaving messages with the office, I received a call that the dosage change was intentional because the provider wished to trial me on the medication. Please note that this was a medication I had been on for over a year and had already tried with my original provider. The new provider told me they were going to change the dosage. As of today, this has not been resolved. I have made a complaint at the office, sent in the same complaint, and will bring in several copies with me to my appointment on Friday. Also, none of these appointments were necessary. If my original provider's inbox had been monitored and my original treatment plan kept, I would not have made any in office appointments. To date I have since made 4 appointments and am out hundreds of dollars in copays because of their incompetence. I have been without proper medication for over a month and my health is declining, thanks to nidraveda. Stay away.

I have had many neurologists in an attempt to control my epilepsy to no avail. I was so blessed to have found Hanul Bhandari. He is the perfect combination of incredible compassion, extensive knowledge, patience, but a very straightforward and honest approach in sensitive situations. Recommend without reservation.

Stay clear of this place. Very disorganized. They shredded MRI reports that were very important and then asked me to replace them. They drug their feet for days when I needed important testing and then wouldn't return phone calls for days. When I called the office manager to report my concern, he wasn't even competent enough to call me back when he said he would.

Exceptional staff!!!! From the front office to the doctors!!!! I was listened to, felt validated and feel hopeful for the first time in over 20 years with living with debilitating pain. I have a treatment plan and was explained my condition in terms I could easily understand. I HIGHLY recommend anyone struggling with pain or sleep issues to reach out and contact Dr. Bandari’s office!!!!! Everyone I encountered was so kind, compassionate and caring. Today restored my faith in a field where many lose their their way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

It has taken over 6 months to get the required cpac. Still waiting. The staff doesn't answer calls or return calls. The customer service is unacceptable.

I’ve had a sleeping disorder for more than 20 years. My body doesn’t know when to go to sleep. I would grow a tolerance toward medications. I was taking 8 to 12 medications daily to sleep. My first visit with Dr. Bhandari and he made 1 change to my medications and I’ve slept like I’ve never slept before. I have a long road ahead of me to make changes to all medications I take but I thank the Almighty God that He has given Dr. Bhandari the knowledge to help me with my chronic problem. Dr. Bhandari has saved my life. I hope he can help me do away with all my medications and prescribe medications to help me continue getting restful sleep.

I have been going to Dr. Bhandari for over a year now. I have NEVER seen him less than an hour past my appointment. The office staff is not well informed and have discharged me by mistake, leading to longer wait times. It is hard to get in touch the front office and they rarely return phone calls.

dr bhanderi is the best! i would give more stars if i could. he listens, discusses his thoughts, cares, he orders the right tests, staff is good, rooms are beautiful and welcoming, and i can go on. highly recommend.

Dr. Bhandari is a very caring doctor who really cares about your needs. I have severe insomnia and he helped me obtain better sleep.

Dr Bhandari is a very caring doctor. He spent time listening to my story. Doctors these days don't even do that but he did. Office is good. I highly recommend this place.

I have seen Dr. Buhandari and Lefton. Both were very helpful and listened to what my problems were. They ordered the tests what i needed. Then treated my condition. Caring clinic. I am now referring my some of my family here now.

My husband has been going to this office since about September of 2019. He was diagnosed with epilepsy. We are very upset to find out how well they treat their patients. He was given a call today 1/10/2020 that his future appointment on Monday was canceled because they now longer work with triwest. He is in the middle of treatment with this doctor currently taking him off one med and starting a new one. He was given NO notice as to this new development which we find out started Jan 1st. They even saw him on 1/6/2019 with no issues. I will be reporting this office to the medical board due to the negligence of my husband's care.

What a great experience at this doc's office. I was referred to another neurologist in Stone Oak considered to be the "best" by my primary doc. But, I did my own research and came here. Dr. Bhandari was professional, thorough, cordial, and took his time to go over my condition. He explained things unlike any other doc I have been to. He is the best in my book and I would recommend him to anyone. Sitting area is inviting and front people are receptive and caring. Thanks Dr. Bhandari and the whole team. I'm glad I came here. He is a very good doc.

This place is the best neurology clinic ive been too. Front people are very nice and Cindie and Michele are helpful. Dr. Buhndari asks the right questions and orders only things which are needed. He is very good. I highly recommend this clinic if you are in San Antonio and need a neurologist. I waited less than 5 mins before seeing him. Def recommend!!!

Dr. Hanul Bhandari is a wonderful physician and person. Dr. Bhandari listened to my problems, ordered proper testing, and treated my condition. 4 other neurologists and pain doctors could not even understand my problem. Office is beautiful also.

awful chaos. no one cares, incompetent staff, uneducated people who cannot work their system. Stay away!

I have no idea if he is a good doctor, since they never call me about setting an appointment after I did all the tests. The office is terribly disorganized. I first saw Dr. Bhandari on Feb 13. Now, here it is April 29, and I had to call once again to set the appointment they should have called me about. We were waiting on test results said someone weeks ago. It doesn't take this long. When you have an untreated medical condition you first saw someone about, they should care enough to give you good care when you have Tier 1 insurance! I pay a lot extra to have good insurance so I can see top doctors. This is ridiculous. BTW, the seating is lawn chairs and makes me depressed, like I m in a 3rd world clinic.

Dr Bhandari and the PNA are great. However, the staff it doesn't help at all. Especially the billing perso whom ever she is doesn't how to keep good track of your payments. Therefore, they mess up my account. Good thing is I always paid them with my credit card and all payments are reflecting on my checking account. That's good for me because I can proof to them that someone doesn't know how to count nor how keep the accounting upto date. Too sad such a greta Dr put staff not good at all.

We have developed an overwhelming trust and bond with this physician. He is transparent, states everything honestly (even if it hurts), he has a deep and GENUINE concern/interest in each of his patients rather than just production for the month!, his knowledge and competency is staggering, he takes his time at appointments to share that knowledge with his patients to ensure they fully understand everything involved in their diagnosis, he is very professional but his friendly heart just shines.JC

Dr. Bhandari is a caring, compassionate, professional, intelligent, well respected neurologist. He is an excellent diagnostician and gets the job done. The doctor listens and is very thorough. If you need to see a neurologist, I highly recommend Dr Bhandari. The staff was accommodating and scheduled me the next day.

I went to a few doctors to take care of my problems but no one gave me the time or listened to me. Dr. Bhandari listened and helped get me better. His office is good and the staff in the front are nice and greet you well. I highly recommend this office.

I have been to many doctors over the years for chronic migraines, but he is the first neurologist in while who has given me hope. The staff is very helpful, and any questions that I have are immediately answered.

Dr. Bhandari is a miracle worker - he took care of my migraines. I had seen a few others in town but everyone just threw medications at me. Dr. Bhandari listened to me. He is a calming presence - much needed when you have migraines. His clinic is as professional as he is.
