He is an amazing physician. He has taken care of me, my husband and my sister. We are so lucky to have him in the Port Arthur Beaumont Texas area. His staff and all so kind and caring.
So glad I found Dr. Smith. He is great. Explains thing so you can understand and he is very personable. All his staff is friendly and helpful. So glad I found a great doctor locally.
Wouldnt use him or his staff.very rude, and you need to come in weeks later for results of test.very unprofessional. Ill use md anderson anyday over them
Had I known I would get a separate charge of several hundred dollars from baptist hospital for using this facility, I would have NOT gone just to be told to get labs done and have my results read on a separate visit!
He insist on seeing you to give you labs that are very abnormal. Caused my mom not once but twice to go to ER for blood because he wanted to be able to give her the results instead of proceeding in scheduling an iron transfusion or a blood transfusion. My mom can not drive my husband is her driver we were in ER with him and she missed her appointment so my mom ended up being dismissed from his service because we know the law and our rights because we worked the medical field and she spent some of the Christmas Holidays in and out of ER because she asked for her labs and told them her right as a patient. Personal I would never use him nor refer anyone to him. He insist on seeing you to give you labs that are very abnormal. Dr Smith and his staff did their best for my daughter Patricia. When she came to them she was just diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer that had already spread to the bone. They never promised her a cure and we knew it was not possible. Because of their care and treatments, they gave her an additional year and a half, she would not have had. She passed away 10/29/19. I will be forever grateful for the time we had with her. Dr Smith and his staff did their best for my daughter Patricia. He makes me feel relaxed explains everything. Ask if I have questions or concerns and make sure I have had all necessary test that I need. I leave there feeling good about my visit
Dr. Smith is very caring, yet professional and very knowledgeable. Also, every staff member from admission to the office nurse to the infusion nurses have been extremely nice. A very competent, well run office.
Some of the nicest people you would ever meet and I love the Dr. I'm more than glad my family Dr. referred me to him . He has a great personality .
Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor, but today I found out he is with Baptist Hospital, I told Dr. Smith that I would have to find another doctor. Because now you not only pay your co pay, you have to pay for the fee that Baptist Hospital is charging. This is because the Hospital is paying for the building and the employee salaries. My co pay is usually $50.00, but today it was my co pay plus $53.00, plus my insurance covered $266.00. I was really disapointed, PATIENTS mean nothing anymore.

Dr. Smith is nothing but a glorfied tester...we went to him from 10/2014 to 5/2015....not one time was Dr. Smith able to provide a diagnosis even though he did numerous tests, scans, biopsies. Now as of 12/31/15 he has stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to his spine, his ribs, his liver possibly kidneys etc. Had Dr. Smith done a better job of taking care of my husband, we may not be in the situation we are now. I would not recommend him to take care of my dog, let alone another patient.
