Harsh Govil

I love these people, Dr. Govil and April are very attentive and professional. I feel like they understand pain and really want to help. I drive an hour and a half to see these people and have no issues with the drive as they are worth it..

Really was kinda rude. He never listened to me. He acted like he knew it all. My neck is worse now. I had 3 herniated discs in my neck. The MRI showed the discs. He never referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. The shots he gave seemed to make it worse.

Worse Doctor I have ever been to. He thinks everybody wants drugs when all I wanted was a shot in my neck. He would not even look at my neck just wanted to focus on lower back. He is rude and not professional in my opinion

April Hatfield at Dr Govil's is completely 100% with taking the time to listen to you and is very knowledgeable. She understands and helps you.

I have been a patient of DR Govil for a few years and have found him and his staff to be both caring and knowledgeable. I personally deal with a variety of pain issues which have plagued me for many years. Dr. Govil and his staff have patiently work with me to address each issue and Have develop a plan of action to manage each. I will say that the Doctor is very direct and to the point but that’s what I look for in a doctor. I would highly recommend his office for all your pain needs. Worst DR. I have ever seen. I was referred to this Dr. Because of neuropathy in my feet. He never once asked me About my feet. Just started in on me that he wasnt giving any pain medication and ask why was I there? Because he is not giving pain meds for that. I NEVER NOT ONE TIME ASKED FOR PAIN MEDICATION. I was a referral patient and they called ME to make my appointment. I was told I have a duldging disc pressing on my nerves and that is why I am in such severe pain. The soonest they could fit me in was 10/28. I said fine. I then asked if I could take aspirin for thr pain and she said, 'If you are calling for pain meds, you have called the wrong place.' Hold the phone, you called me. Needless to say, I called back and canceled my appointment. I was a referral patient and they called ME to make my appointment. Took a long time to schedule a visit and then it was cancelled due to the Doctor’s unavailability. Then it took even longer to reschedule. The rescheduled appointment wasn’t even with the Doctor but was with a PA. The follow up spinal injection visit appointment was scheduled very quickly after the consult...$? I was glad of that but puzzled why such a delay up front. That being said the office staff, PA, and Doctor did a good job treating me but again follow up visits are hard to schedule in a timely manner. To be fair the office location I normally go to is closed due to COVID19 but don’t get why one location is open but not another. Doctor needs a partner to pick up the slack and give more timely service.

I have always found Dr. Govil to be thorough in his explanations of procedures and anticipated results. His compassion and concern for his patients is exemplary. I recommend him unequivocally.

Dr Govil was willing to see when I was in severe pain in my lower back when I couldn't get help else where. He was concern and his staff did great with caring for me.

Don't expect any competency, professionalism, empathy or compassion. It's all about rushing to make a profit. Seven minutes per patient and on to the next dollar sign....I mean human being!

Dr Govil is awesome! Front desk and nurses are awesome as well. As far as his PA Thienkim Walters, she may be just doing her job but don't speak and talk to your patients as if they're dumb! No compassion whatsoever! She's rude to a certain extent and I DONT LIKE HER PERSONALITY! WORK ON THAT DR KIM or whatever your name may be! She makes her patients feel belittled. Sweetest Doctor very professional and truly attentive with His patience. The front desk...not so much!

Dr. Govil approached me with professionalism and then proceeded to build a personal relationship. He was very compassionate while informing me of his treatment plan for me. He was straight up with what he expected of me and what he would do for me. will never go back he sends Thienkim Walters to Mooresville she is very rude and has yelled at me several times then makes up excuses why she yelled she told me I had to buy Naloxone Hydrochloride and if I did;nt she would stop my pain meds so here's one to you I quit taking it on my own so I guess Dr. Govil didn't need my money.....
