Heidi Jo Quinlan

This woman is possibly the worst therapist I have ever heard about. Picks sides immediately and is totally biased. Discredits other therapists whose opinions do not work into HER narrative. Most concerned with the "process" not the children. Please do not get involved with this disturbed woman !!

Avoid her at all cost she has an issue with Nan and the father is always painted as the bad guy

My coparent and I benefited from Heidi’s assistance. We were able to understand how our children saw us and learn why our communication was so important. She was difficult to get ahold of sometimes, but we were able to become better parents to our kids.

I see why she has such terrible reviews. Please for your kids mental heath go elsewhere.

Was totally one sided. Was supposed to be about the kids and it was all how the other parent felt. Kids were perfectly fine and wanted things back to normal but was dragged out 8 additional months. Sent to specialist who cleared me but still wasn’t good enough. Unresponsive. Tried to contact for 5 weeks straight. Never got a call email or any correspondence. Do yourself a favor and see anyone else. If I could leave zero stars I would.

I would not choose Heidi as a therapist if you are looking out for the well being of your child. She is constantly putting my child down telling me we need to break her down to build her up. We are in a reunification process and she is forever telling my child that what she is thinking is not right and how she feels about her parent is not right. On one occasion my child did not want to go into a session and she grabbed her by the arm and said that her behavior was uncalled for. She is suppose to be making the process of reunification better for the child but instead my child hates her and does not want any part of the therapist or her other parent. When it comes to co-parenting she is always telling the two parties different things. If you care about your child you will not use Heidi.

She will destroy your relationship with your kids. Blatant leading questions to lead the kid to support her own agenda. DO NOT let her near your child.

I put my heart into an unflattering, factual comment and Heidi removed it. Im sure this won't get posted either; however true it may be. Heidi is in it for contacts and money. She would rather refer someone to extend the family pain, rather than truly search for resolution for children. How does she sleep at night?

I have mixed feelings about this woman. She is not able to effectively identify and diagnose the heart of the problem in a co-parenting situation. She states that it is all about the children, but then does not address the behavior of the parent that is causing destructive behaviors to the children. She has not positively affected the life of our children, only made their lives worsen. Due to her "professional" opinion and counsel, she has placed our children in an abusive situation.

Do not use this counselor. Worst experience I have ever had and she was trusted with my children and we are still trying to heal from it. Do what’s best for your family and find someone else that will actually help and not hurt you and your family. Ask around and do your research especially if it involves your children.
