Dr Eiserloh is an excellent spine surgeon. Thorough in his assessments, very personable and extremely competent in his expertise. He has been my go to spine Dr for years, would never see another!!! His other office staff, PA and Nurse are also very competent and personable as well. Great team!!

Entire staff there is very efficient. Got a lot accomplished is a short amount of time.

Still waiting on MRI to be scheduled and for prescription that was supposed to be sent to my pharmacy

I LOVE Dr. EISERLOH, HE IS ONE OF THR BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD THAT SOLVED MY PROBLEM. AND WAS VERY CONCERBED ABOUT MY HEALTH AND AND WELL WORTH THE TRIP TO BATON ROUGE. I HIGHLY RECOMEND HIM.

Doctors staff was very courteous! Dr Eiserloh was very nice, explained everything in great detail, told me all of my options, explained exactly what to do under the option I selected! I do not live in Louisiana but if I did I would definitely want him as my doctor!!

Dr. Eiserloh is the best. I had my first surgery around 2011, L5 area, then my second surgery in 2018, L4 area, and had 3 more surgeries in February 2019, L3-L4-L5 vertebras! I have Spinal Stenosis in all vertebras, something that I cannot control. I really hope I don't have to call Dr. Eiserloh again, but if I have further trouble with my spine, he will be the first Doctor I will contact. I hope he reads these reviews as I have wanted to tell him I have been doing fine. I highly recommend Dr. Eiserloh. He is the reason I am still here to recommend him and his team who also are the best. Respectfully, DJH

The initial doctor was very nice and got me ready for my visit with Dr. Eiserloh who came in shortly. He reviewed the x-rays and MRI and is referring me to Physical Therapy and to see a neurologist for a nerve conduction test. After this, we will get a plan as he “would like to avoid surgery at all cost.” I am in total agreement.

My visit was very pleasant as soon as I arrived in waiting room did not take under 15 min. before I was called Dr.Eiserloh explained my Mri to me and recommended different options for me to feel better and even be done with the pain now the rest is totally up to me but my visit was truly an success ??

Excellent visit

Great service for a new doctor. Very busy place. I wasn’t happy waiting 1 1/2 hours with an appt but I get it. I got the answers I needed so we’re good! Thank you!

So far, so good. Dr Eiserloh sat down and spoke with me about my back problems. We were not rushed and he explained everything in detail. By the time I left there was a plan of action for moving forward. Photo for attention. ????

Outstanding visit, Dr. Eiserloh was very engaging, he listened very attentively to my concerns and answered all of my questions in a very thorough and understandable manner. I have never met anyone with so many credentials and accolades with such a down to earth personality. Dr. Eiserloh is a thorough and compassionate physician. Medicine and care has definitely changed over the years, but he reminded me of the way medicine used to be…

He always has my best interest in mind. We have tried several methods of helping me with my back pain and pinched nerves, short of surgery. He and his staff are very personable and professional. I would recommend him.

I've had cervical neck fusions with Dr Henry Eiserloh on Nov 02/2022. I was a bit of a challenge but my Dr handled this case with Grace and a whole lot of skill. I will be forever grateful for he and his staff...... I've regained in such a short period of time 80% of my life back. Feeling extremely blessed

Always courteous listens to my needs and the best thing is he stated let’s try everything before surgery is even an option. I had hip replacement about 6 years ago and he stoped in to check on me. That says a lot right there.

Dr. Eiserloh referred me for an MRI and then a nerve conduction survey. After waiting over 2 weeks to hear back from his office regarding results, I called and left a message. Someone returned my call and advised he was out of town but would review the reports the following Monday and call me. A week later I called again and left another message. A lady returned my call, advised the doctor had reviewed the report and she then began to read it to me. I explained I had already obtained a copy and asked what could be done to address my symptoms. Her response was that they did not know. She was short and dismissive. I have no idea what type of professional she was, but she earned her boss and his office this bad review. Let me just say how much I’m cared about and how I’m feeling. I’m always listened too. And I receive the answer I need. There is always a plan for me too get better. The care that I received here was exceptional. They staff was friendly and extremely well versed in knowing everything needed for insurance claims. They submitted all necessary forms in a timely manor. As for Dr. Eiserloh himself, there is none better.

It was a 6 month followup visit after having fusion surgery in September. Dr Eiserloh was pleased with my X-rays & recovery. What’s just as important is how pleased I am after having this surgery. It was a success!

We had a very bad experience with Dr Eiserloh. My son who is an elite athlete had a microdiscectomy with him in May 2021 - Shortly after the surgery my son was in extreme pain. The doctor did not take him seriously or follow up properly -" told him to stop being a baby". After a month of pain and complaining the doctor did an exploratory still not thinking it was anything of concern, it turned out he had a staph infection. The doctor said infection was in tissue only turned out it was in his spine. Cleared him for exercise when he should have been resting. At one point he sent us to another doctor for second opinion who said permanent damage was done and his sports career is over. Dr Eiserloh wasn't able to recognize the severity of this condition or properly diagnosis what was going on. We wish we never went to him. Do not listen to his patients.

Excellent in his field, top notch. Dr. Eiserloh performed two spinal surgeries on me, Nov 2020 and Nov 2021. Lower back 3 fusions then Upper cervical 3 or 4 fusions. Taking bone matter out from three disks and replacing. Then fusing the rest of the degenerative disks. Both surgeries were very successful. This man absolutely knows his field. Friendly, concerned with very good communications. Appointments made in very acceptable times.

Incredible doctor. Gave my husband his life back with two major surgeries, one upper spine, one lower spine. Nurse Kelly is very efficient. Recovery went smoothly both times. Absolutely no issues. Call this doctor.

Was very helpful with sharing the options with my treatment as well as the result if I didn't address the issues that I was confronted with. Staff very helpful in explaining things as well as their concerns about my condition.

Had had a very serious accident on a bicycle Dr and his PA were very helpful to me and explained in detail what was happening to me. They gave me a succinct explanation of what I could expect going forward as I healed.

Premier MDs in Orthopedics. My wife & I depend on Dr. Eiserloh to keep these two octogenarians up and healthy. My wife would likely be in a wheelchair were it not for Dr. Eiserloh’s surgical expertise. Dr. Mark Field has had us both as surgical patients. We live better lives as a result.

Dr. Eiserloh was though as well as welcoming. He took his time and also listened to me. He had completely reviewed the 6 pages about my medical past as well as present before I entered the room. He gave me hope that I had lost a couple of years ago. He explained the procedure including all the negatives. He even talked long distance on the phone to my daughter-in-law, a PT with a doctorate. Prompt and professional staff who return calls within the day and always have an answer to your problem, if needed. Dr Eiserloh takes time with you until you have your answer and explains all your options. He’s thorough and I’d recommend him highly to anyone who asks.

I wish I had seen Dr. Eiserloh first. I'm a transfer from another orthopaedic in another city. Dr. Eiserloh immediately recognized the root cause of my back pain and provided a clear plan for treatment. Dr. Eiserloh's PA along with the entire staff was extremely professional and courteous. I have been suffering with back, groin paIn, and leg pain for a year. He was able to diagnose a hip problem that my previous doctor did not pick up. He took the time to explain everything to me as well as point it out on the X-rays. I felt very pleased with him.

Had Kyphoplasty in July 2020 due to a compression fracture. Consultation was thorough and all my questions answered. Doctor Eiserloh is friendly and easy to talk to as well as excellent at explaining what the X-rays showed. Staff scheduled the surgery quickly.

Dr. Eiserloh performed cervical fusion on me in 2007. I have no complaints at all. I now have a back injury and I would not trust any other surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Eiserloh every chance I get.

Dr. Eiserloh is awesome. He's very thorough and listens to all of your concerns in order to come up with a good plan for better spine health. I have recommended him to multiple people and will continue to do so. I live in Kenner and travel all the way to Baton Rouge for his expertise.

Dr. Eiserloh is an extremely competent physician. I'm currently under his care. He is thorough, detailed and learned.

Cervical Fusion

My appointment wirh Dr. Eiserloh was excellent. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff was courteous and efficient. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Eiserloh did a thorough examination, explained my MRI results, outlined treatment options, and answered all of my questions completely and honestly. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Eiserloh and his staff.

Being a patient of Dr. Eiserloh’s for over 10 years now I feel he is one of the best in his specialty and also he has a wonderful bedside manner. He truly explains In your appointment what he feels is going on and makes you feel comfortable with any questions that you need to ask. I have recommended him to many friends and family and believe that he really cares about his patients which is hard to find today.

I was very impressed with Dr Eiserloh and his staff. He was able to locate the source of my issue my first visit (I had seen other doctors previously). He recommended a treatment that resolved my pain right away. He also has referred me for follow up treatment to continue to treat my issues. Continuity of care is very valuable to me and something I wasn’t receiving previously.

Complete disappointment. I went to Dr. Eiserloh because he was “the guy” who treats athletes. Getting an MRI we found out I had a hip fracture (thought it was a L4 issue) he just told me to rest for 3 months. I was the one who pushed and asked for a bone density test because it isn’t normal for a 43 year old female to break a hip running. He said he doesn’t believe in BD test because they aren’t accurate. Seriously?!?! At this point it’s all we really have. After multiple calls to the office I finally had to go by in person to get my results to find out I have osteoporosis. I guess telling a 43 year old athlete she has osteoporosis isn’t a priority. So buyer beware. We pay a lot for health insurance make sure you get a doctor who cares enough to call you back.

My visit was extremely positive. The doctor was extremely thorough and took a great deal of time listening my concerns. He looked at my records and listened. At one point he said, " I work for you!" Although I was in pain, his attentiveness and ability to listen made me feel 100% better. Dr. Eiserlolf is a gem, which is unusual now a days. Great bedside manner!!!!!

Dr Eiserloh clearly explained my lumbar condition to me. He identified options and we agreed with his suggested follow up plans. His staff was very nice and my appointment was a very positive experience.

Dr. Eiserloh’s schedule is pretty full. I had to wait a month and a half for an appointment. However, he is very thorough and he is a Doctor I would highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Eiserloh for a second opinion. He was wonderful. He did some testing in the exam room and then he went into detail telling me that he agreed fully with what my primary doctor recommended as far as surgery. He even told me in detail what will happen and what i needed to expect. Exactly what my primary doctor told me. I would definitely go to Dr. Eiserloh as a primary spine doctor in the future should I need.
