I had a recent consult with Dr. Cares for my back pain. He was able to give me a treatment plan that efficiently took care of the pain and it was a very positive experience. His COVID protocols were exactly what I was looking for as I felt safe throughout the whole appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Cares and will revisit his office if any other issues occur.

Record your meeting (with his consent) because he will lie and rip you apart strictly to keep on the WC payrolll

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Dr is a neurosurgeon who does not perform surgery and staff does not tell patients when they call for an appointment that he does not do surgery. He also will not refer a patient to another neurosurgeon. He says there are tests that need to be ordered and he refuses to order them. He is verbally controlling and does not let one speak. He requires one or two word answers so he could can document before he forgets what it is that wants to write. He is semi retired. It takes 2 hours to take a history. The violates patient confidentiality. He sends reports to the wrong doctors without patient permission. He is unfriendly and does not bother to show that he cares. Very traumatic visit.
