Dr. Hernan Goldsztein is absolutely exceptional. I highly recommend him as he is both extremely knowledgeable and kind. He took his time, answered all of my questions with grace and made me feel at ease during a procedure that I was not looking forward to. Well worth a long drive and actually cares about your well being. Rare breed!
Hernan Goldsztein, M.D, is an INCREDIBLE surgeon. He completely changed my life. I was in desperate need of a cochlear implant. I felt completely hopeless and very close to losing my job because I was unable to hear the world. My anatomy was not favorable which required a surgical approached which had not done before. I had absolutely 100% confidence in his ability. My cochlear implant surgery went amazing! He gave me back my life and for that I will always be grateful!

Dr. Goldsztein is an amazing doctor. He performed my cochlear implant surgery 2 months ago. He explains everything well, he’s so kind and soft spoken. His bedside manner is great. He did a flawless job on my surgery and preserved what hearing I had left in my ear. A literal amazing doctor.
Dr Goldsztein immediately diagnosed the reason for my vertigo problem after being admitted to Scripps Encinitas.
I have a complicated med history with extreme ear problems. I have been to the top specialists all throughout CA (including Mayo Clinic in AZ and Back East). Dr. Goldsztein has been the best in managing (successfully) my ear conditions for the past few years. I stumbled accross him and now travel 85 miles to see him. It is well worth the 1.5 hour drive each way. He is caring, patient, compassionate, and patient driven. He truely wants to help his patients and spends the necessary time with you.

Dr. Goldsztein is one of the best docs I ever seen. After seeing 3 doctors that wrongly diagnosed me, I happened to find Dr. Goldsztein by the grace of God at Scripps Hospital. I had spinal fluid leaking through my ear, I suffered with this situation for over a year without knowing how serious my condition was. Thanks to Dr. Goldsztein he found the problem and fixed it. He did such a great job that not even my scar in my head can be seen. By the second week, I felt like running a marathon.
I felt like he listened to my concerns and was eager to address each and every one of them.
