Dr. Terebelo is head and shoulders above physicians I have ever met when it comes to blood tests analysis and understanding. He is a very knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, understanding, accessible, timely, and responsive. He does not push you to take on extreme measures as some physicians are prone to do unless tests are extremely confirmative. You get the sense that he sincerely cares about your unique situation. I have been going to Dr Terebelo for over 20 years for my blood condition. He is kind, caring, and honest. He explains my problem to me in a way I can understand. His staff is wonderful.

He has been phenomenal in treating my mom. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and kind.

Summary: This doctor is trash, AVOID at all costs. If she is assigned to your case, IMMEDIATELY ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I can not say enough about the lack of professionalism displayed by this physician. She has been "treating" my mother with breast cancer and here is a brief outline of the reasons I have written this overwhelmingly negative review: 1) Does not return calls, does not answer emails, does not respond at all. Its almost as if this doctor disappears when they are needed. I had to call this doctor 4 times before she responded to me. Please see picture below for proof 2) Unsatisfactory bedside manner: upon her first infusion on a Wednesday, my mother had an unusual reaction with her chemo. Cynthia was notified several times, via email and phone and it was not until I started calling her on a Saturday morning did I get any kind of response. 3) Instead of taking responsibility for her role as a health care provider, she suggested I contact her office because she does not work on the weekends. I guess her patients take the weekend off from cancer too. If you consider working with this doctor, make sure you can take weekends of from you cancer. 4) Instead of answering my questions about my mothers deteriorating health, she repeatedly kept asking me why I was contacting her directly in an accusatory tone. She was seemingly upset to be receiving a call about the care she was providing. Overall summary: avoid like the plague. Summary: This doctor is trash, AVOID at all costs. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vakhariya to my friends and family

She is such a compassionate and caring doctor! She's helped me through my toughest of times. I would recommend any family and friends to her and wouldn't be worried that she wouldn't give them the best care

I am a 71 year-old male with heart disease. In 2011, my 6-month blood work indicated anemia. My PCP could not see any reason for the problem and referred me to Dr. Vakhariya's office for follow-up. Dr. Vakhariya recommended a bone marrow biopsy to determine the cause of an elevated protein level in my blood. The test revealed multiple myeloma, but not severe enough for treatment. Blood work was monitored every 3 months, and in May 2012, my condition had deteriorated enough to affect kidney function, so chemo was started. After my MM was in remis- sion, I was referred to Karmanos Cancer Center for a stem cell transplant. After my release from Karmanos, I have continued to see Dr. Vakhariya regularly to monitor my condition and prescribe my maintainance meds. I have complete confidence in Dr. Vakhariya and will continue to see her as long as possible. I believe her early diagnosis has improved my chances of surviving the cancer and am grateful for her professional and personal approach to my treatment.
