Dr Lydia Cortes Betancourt was very helpful and knowledgeable with all my symptoms. She was very attentive and really listened to what I was saying. My visit went so well a family member is now also her patient.

I have lupus and autoimmune hepatitis, this was diagnosed at OSU a decade ago. I got the coronavirus, when I called for a post COVID checkup I was told she doesn't need to see me until my next appointment which isn't for a month and a half.... Am I the only one thinking she could care less??

Very poor

She was great! Listened to me and actually cared. Only one who helped me.

Does not keep appointments, was told I didn't have arthritis, had to go elsewhere to get proper diagnosis.

Was referred to Dr . Cortes Do not waste your time. Was nice but kept cutting me off saying she doesn't treat back pain and kept trying to refer me to OSU. I was there to be tested for Ankling Spondylitis which she did not seemed knowledgeable in the area and didn't look at the overall picture. Didn't even address my Fibromyalgia. I was referred for diagnosis. Now I have had to fight for a list of them. I was verbally told I had lupus and other diseases but she will NOT put it on paper. She refuses any alternative treatment. She will not do referrals. She will not treat anything relating to the diseases she diagnoses. She will refer you to your pcp then refuse to release your information. She does have a heightened sense for diagnostic but beyond that your on your own. I was referred for diagnosis. Now I have had to fight for a list of them. Dr. Hanif was wonderful! She was sharp, on top of things, and very concern about my care. I've had experiences in other major hospitals and i want to say Dr. Hanif is one of my favorite doctors. I felt so blessed to have her as my doctor. When you read a bad review consider the source. Dr. Hanif is conscientious, and is brilliant at what she does. And she really cares. Thank you Mt. Dr. Hanif ‘s very cold. Very distant. Doesn’t seem to care about your problems. Will be finding someone else.

was referred for help with a diagnosis, after seeing multiple providers, this office refused to even schedule an appointment because they "don't treat fibromyalgia" per whoever answered the phone. I saw her in the hospital. She was very nice and I was never diagnosed before so that was a huge relief. She moved and unfortunately I don't know how to contact her to make an appointment now...

Dr.Hanif is careing and supportive. I would like to know where she is. I would see her again. She helped me alot. Kathy Dobbins

I would highly recommend Dr. Hanif. Agreed if you are wanting pity she isn't for you. But that isn't her job! Her job is to treat your condition! I thought she had a great bedside manner. She answered all my questions. She is very quick and doesn't mess around. So if you are wanting to spend your whole day in her office then you will be unhappy. I, however, have a job to go to so I was very pleased with her quickness.

I'm with whoever said they think Dr. Hanif is getting a bad wrap here!!! I read these reviews before seeing her and was a bit apprehensive after reading them. Having been in healthcare all of my life, I decided to give her a chance and I'm glad I did!! She is pakistanian and perhaps people mistake her for coming off different. She talks fast and she processes fast. She listened to me and gave me plenty of time. I believe she thorough and knowledgeable !! Give her a chance!!

I was referred to Dr. Hanif because of a positive ANA test and Lupus. She talked over me when I was explaining why I was there, told me I was wrong about the information I was trying to convey and rushed through the appointment. I will be looking for a new Rheumatologist after the new year so I can get help with my condition.

My first appointment I took my mother with me. Dr hanif did not even acknowledge that she was in the room. She has absolutely zero bedside manners. One visit was enough for me. Never went back. Well,Dr.Hanif seems to be getting a bad rap on here...I really like her as my rheumatologist. I go in every 3 months;get my blood draws,a quick exam,a quick Q&A with the Doc.,some recommendations- and I'm out of there! I get a follow up call either from the nurse or the Doctor 1-2 days later with recommendations for adjustments(if any) to my meds,easy. What do people want? The doctor is efficient,competent,there's never a wait. Dr Hanif is NOT going to give you pity.

Very rude, poor bed side manors. With years of documentation and being treated previously for psoriatic arthritis she felt there was "nothing" wrong with me. As if it weren't difficult enough dealing with the Dr who had been treating me stoping practice all together, to have someone treat you poorly!

Found out more from Dr. Ha if in 10 minutes about my condition than over the last 20 years . Highly recommend.

I was shocked by the poor care I received here. Dr. Hanif performed a very rushed history and eval. I was out of there within 15 minutes and sent back to my family doctor. She did not work to find new solutions. In fact, she did absolutely nothing! I'm just writing to warn you all that she's easy to schedule with for a reason--and not a good one.

The first visit she said to me, "you have too many symptoms, go back to your family Dr." You know that referred me to her because of positive ANA. Completely incompetent or she just likes seeing people suffer.

This doctor is a joke. Not only were my symptoms ignored, the nurses in the office were totally unable to draw a blood sample. After 4 attempts I had to put a stop to the fiasco. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

The most horrible experience of my life 28th a doctor. Don't go to her no matter what.she barely talks to you and examines you less. Blows you off. I'm 53 yrs old and have seen alot of doctors so please for your sake don't go to her. I've been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia for 20 yrs and lupus for 7 yrs. Yet she spent 3 minutes with me and said nothing wrong with me , even though 3 other rheumatologist have diagnosed me with these conditions!
