Dr. McElderry changed my life and our family can never repay him (or his wonderful team) for the amazing care we received. He took time with us to explain everything and made sure we had all the information we needed before, during, and after my procedure, which he performed confidently and flawlessly. I went for a fib surgery.over night and after the surgery his assistant came in and told me about it.then 30 minutes later Dr mcEldery came in and said he got it .but later I requested a copy of the sugery and then I read that he got got half way and just decided to stop.then he double my meds.i was doing the sugery to Lessing my meds.that is what I was told before the surgery. Now he left me on heavy meds and no contact with him.

DR McElderry, cured my Afib,, I would get tired just walking out about 50 ft to our mailbox,, he is fantastic,,Had to wait a little while to get in to see him,, but when your seeing the best,, I certainly didn't mind the wait,, he did the heart ablation and no more problems,, that was Sept 2017,, thanks Dr McElderry,, you saved my life,,,

Dr. McElderry treated my Afib with and Ablation and cured my problem. His staff and the entire UAB EXPERIENCE IS Second to None. Thanks for giving me a normal life back!

Dr. McElderry, Jr. Is the most knowledgeable physician in Electrophysiology in the country as far as I am concerned!! My husband was so critical that other Physicians refused to do surgury due to level of risk involved. Dr McElderry took him on...and he is walking evidence of the "Magician" hands and brilliance of Dr. mcElderry's level of skill!!

I have not had the pleasure of talking with Dr. McElderry. I have been referred to him but have not been scheduled for an appointment.
