Dr. Ryu is very professional and has a great bedside manner. He took the time and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He’s very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease. Office is well run and staff are professional. Highly recommend him.

Doesn’t listen. Doesn’t take concerns with much concern. Not personable. Left there feeling like I wasn’t going to make it.

Dr. Ryu is wonderful. When I came to his office for the first time I was a scared 27 year old that was just diagnosed with cancer. He made me comfortable. He is so knowledgeable and has a wonderful bed side manner. Highly recommend him.

A fantastic Doctor.

I was fooled for a few years thinking Dr. Ryu even cared. I had several appointments where I asked for PAP smear and STD testing- to find out they only did STD test and i'd have to go back in. They have neglected to even call me to give results in the past despite not even posting them online. I was shocked with a $900 ultrasound on an ovarian cyst bill- no one even muttered it would be so pricey (whilst reccomending me to have them every 3 months). I have been given a perscription for Accutane to be told by the pharmacist he wasn't even allowed to prescribe it in the first place. I looked online at the potential side effects and was shocked he wouldn't even counsel me on it- let a long perscribe when he wasn't allowed. I have had my appointments cancelled not even a week in advance three times in my 4 years there. This past week they cancelled my appointment and couldn't get me in for another week and a half after already waitng two weeks for a time sensitive matter.

Dr.Ryu is great Doctor he really cares

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ryu Friday. Unfortunately not under good circumstances but I must say that all of the reviews and personal experiences of others were correct. He was so gentle with my complicated issue. He showed major sympathy for my brother and I and took his time explaining things and left room for questions. He was very kind to us and I just wanted to leave a review to at least show my appreciation for him. I know that I am in great hands. Thank you Dr. Ryu. ???? Oh and his assistant was adorable. I saw Dr. Ryu to remove an endometrioma. Although it did return, the process with him was super.

I found Dr. Ryu after seeing a couple OBGYNs in the area who would not listen to my concerns about my heavy and painful periods. I have a family history of endometriosis, but other doctors were very dismissive. He listened to me and was able to do a surgery during which he excised endometriosis and endometrial polyps. The entire experience at Mercy has been great and I highly recommend his practice.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Ryu. He is thorough and very skilled at exams. Very much puts me at ease completely.

Dr. Ryu has been gynecological oncologist for the last 17 months. I have always felt comfortable with the his expertise in this field. I appreciate how he takes the time to explain things to me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Ryu is very focused and down-to-business yet very kind and skilled. Before I went into surgery for a large ovarian cyst some of the hospital staff told me they would select him as their surgeon. I had a total hysterectomy by choice, laparoscopically. I have three tiny scars and felt good after two weeks; great after three. Would highly recommend Dr. Ryu.

I came to Dr Rhu terrified. My cancer had come back. I knew the probability of it was high but still being faced with it was overwhelming. The doctor carefully explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. The more he talked the less afraid I was. By the time I left his office I was ready to go and have this cancerous lymph node removed and get back to my life. He was there every day to check on me at the hos, Now we start chemo. I feel so positive with him handling it.

I went to see Dr.Ryu after dealing with a horrible gyn. My daughter found out about him through the hospital. He listens to all your concerns, answers all your questions and takes time to speak with you. Post surgery I am recovering extremely well. Overall, I was very impressed.

Dr Ryu is born a surgeon. One of his kind... Excellent work and satisfaction.
