Dr. Ian Y Marshall

Dr. Marshall is a complete hack; avoid him at all cost. I was sent over to him by the hospital after having testicular pain and swelling on the left testicle. Because I’m younger than the typical patient he sees, Dr. Marshall blankety assumed that the hospital was wrong on their tests and that I had an infection due to an STD. Without running any tests at all he put me on a random antibiotic for 2 weeks. My family and I convinced Dr. Marshall to do a CT to look further at the issue, but conveniently my CT “didn’t get approved by my insurance” to do anywhere but at his office (this being difficult for me because I don’t live in the area). After nearly a month of trying to figure it out, I bit the bullet and made the drive to his office for the CT. The CT revealed a cyst on the testicle. Dr. Marshall told me there was nothing he could do about it, and that if I was in pain “to take ibuprofen” and if it gets worse to go see a doctor. I have more to say but ran out of space; avoid him.

Excellent physician! Dr Marshall has been our urologist for many years. We find him to be very professional and caring. We never feel rushed and our questions are always answered. He has performed surgery on both my husband and me. I was at another practice before seeing Dr Marshall and am so happy to have switched.

Extremely knowledgeable, likable, understanding, patient. Found I was greatly relieved and less anxious after our visitation. Spend nearly an hour with him and his assistants!

He had the worse bedside manner of any physician I have ever meet. I am a RN and deal with doctors daily. I can say his patient interaction skills were very poor. He is not a caring or compassionate doctor. and during our visit used profanity. I would subject my dog to his care.
