Idriss El Koussaimi

Dr. El Koussaimi is superb. He always listens carefully, asks relevant questions and doesn't hesitate to move you to a specialist, or to switch hospitals if the past tests or procedures do not prove useful. My husband was fighting pain for years and other doctors tried to treat him, but with no results. Dr. El Koussaimi would not accept no response, and moved him to a specialist and then internal surgery, which found a serious problem, which they cured. He has done the same for me. Excellent, smart service and a compassionate, empathetic person.

Dr. El Koussaimi is a good doctor and a nice guy. However some of the personnel in his office may need some new training. or perhaps a lesson on what their roles are. They seem to be somewhat confused about how my insurance works.

I am extremely happy to have Dr. Koussaimi as my pcp He’s dedicated, thorough, caring, patient and listens to what I have to say . Dr. Koussaimi and his staff are very prompt in replying to emails and also making phone calls when necessary which I really appreciate. I feel very comfortable and never feel rushed. Dr. Koussaimi is a terrific doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr El Koussaimi is one of the few doctors we have come across that is able to strike a balance between being extremely competent and knowledgeable as well as caring and compassionate. He always takes the time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and never makes you feel rushed. If you call or email him you will receive a response in a timely manner. My husband and I have never reviewed a product, never mind a person but thought it was important to let you know what an incredible doctor you would be getting if you chose Dr. El Koussaimi. Dr. El Koussaimi is fabulous. He listens carefully to any health concerns and he is ALWAYS responsive. He has helped us deal with some serious issues which have saved our lifestyle. After many years of struggling with an internal issue (with other doctors) he finally said, "we have to deal with this and figure it out - it can't just keep going on like this." And he put us on a course to finally figure out the problem and have the surgery that was required. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I feel lucky to have found Dr. Koussaimi. I had tried on a few occasions due to health insurance changes to find a new doctor with no luck, forcing me into more expensive plans from the companies I was joining. My previous doctor finally retired at the end of 2019 I had a sense of dread after failed searches in the past. When I first called to make a new patient appointment, the person I spoke with was beyond helpful, listened to my concerns, and told me she thought Dr. Koussaimi would be a good fit. Just over a year later, I can say I am extremely happy here - the office is clean, easy to get to and I have never had a problem with availability when I needed an appointment either with Dr. Koussaimi or the PA. Beyond the in-person visits, the patient portal used makes it easy to request appointments and view results from tests AND the staff are quite responsive when you ask questions through the port

Dr. El Koussaimi is an excellent Doctor, he's so close to his patients, also he's quick to reply to his patients messages.

He's just a young doctor who has a lot to learn about relationships with his patients. He seems to be unaware of my history with the office which goes back to about 1974 with heart and respiratory problems. To the point of his refusal to see me when I came down with pneumonia last winter. Also, referral requests to his office have been unfulfilled costing me to full brunt of the costs of a visit to a pulmonary specialist.
