Dr. Ekaney has always been very courteous and caring about my health. She always encouraged me to keep up the good work. Any questions I had regarding HIV that wasn’t related to my condition she always took time to answer.

Dr. Ekaney would rather talk over you and interrupt you than actually listen. If you asked a question or disagreed with her assumptions because she wasn't basing them in your story, but instead, her knowledge base, she got visibly irritated. When she finally allowed a full story to come out, only then did she appear concerned and actually started to think about things. In the end it was a waste of time as nothing came from this appt. Avoid at all costs even if you are a 100% textbook case.

I have been ill for 5 months and was referred to her office by another doctor. She did nothing and did not even answer my questions as to what I could do to feel better. My assumption was that she would do some sort of testing because I have 5 different autoimmune diseases. It was a total waste of my time and my husbands who took the day off to take me! I will be finding another infectious disease doctor soon.

This was the most unprecedented waste of time I have ever experienced with a health care profesional. In my opinion doctors like this lack professional ethics and integrity to work as a health care provider.
