I saw Dr. Tawfik multiple times now, he provides great detail and insight at each visit. He's clear, concise, he cares, he's been a great addition to my healthcare team. I trust him and am confident in his expertise.

My husband was sent to Dr. Tawfik for a stress test for a clearance for a carotid artery surgery, he desperately needed. We did not hear from the office in 6 days. When I called the office at 9:00a.m. on a Thursday I was told Dr. Tawfik was not in and would call me back, I stressed the importance of the findings of the tests. NO RESPONSE! Finally at 4:30 p.m. Dr. Tawfik called only to report abnormalities in my husband's test. I asked him why he waited almost 1 week for the result, no answer! I told him he needed an assistant to put "bad tests" in one pile and "good ones" in another pile. Inexcusable. And that the bad results, and call them right away! No response. I told Dr. Tawfik this was very negligent! The following week his office called to see when my husband's carotid artery test was being done? Really another 6 days. Needless to say we are not even thinking of using this doctor since he doesn't consider the patient's clearance for surgery of any importance.
