Unbelievably UNETHICAL uses inaccurate billing codes to charge the insurance AND the patient significantly higher out of pocket fees!! Dr Lapidus either missed a huge abscess (that has been draining) or he simply didn't care enough to address it. HORRIBLE patient care. Horrible dr. He should not be allowed to practice medicine. He was incredibly mean and physically rough. He made me cry and then scoffed at me. I left feeling worse. He has absolutely no care for his patients.

I went to Dr. Lapidus after suffering from obvious tmj symptoms. The doctors was suspicious and dismissive of everything I told him. He did agree to make me a hugely expensive mouthpiece only to use at night. My symptoms continued to worsen and the doctor refused to believe me. At one appointment he told me if my headaches were bad I should take something over the counter. The next appointment he told me my headaches were caused by taking over the counter medicine? He then blamed the wild fires that happened briefly miles away for my headaches. He then just straight up told me my symptoms weren’t possible. I finally went to another doctor who did actual diagnostics. I have arthritis throughout my jaw and my tmj joints were eroding. If I had waited I would have eventually needed surgery. A waste of time and money. Why even bother being a doctor if your just going to gaslight patients?

The best at what he does. Stopped my mild apnea w an appliance. My wife and I both thank him. Find his dry sense of humor a hoot!

Overbearing, overcharging, zero bedside manner, bully, pushy, deliberately fear-inducing, angry that I didn't overpay him so he fired off a nasty letter to the referring dentist and myself. Not only would I never refer anyone to him, I requested of my former dentist that HE not refer anyone to him ever again.
