Your staff absolutely inserted itself into the situation. All I wanted as a parent of the patuents and policy holder is to be included in communications regarding my children's healthcare, and you. Just really caring attention, bedside manners and awesome office. I appreciate the care they are taking during these unprecedented times. They are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe during the pandemic while still able to help their patients and provide the best care possible.

Please help me someone help me This office refuse to see me because of recent COVID test which now is negative. She started paperwork was to received a week from appointment date. I left this office in tears. My appointment was canceled stating the paperwork was not received in time. I explained I sent it and the Rn confirmed it was received the morning of. The nurse stated it should have been received a week prior however the office was well aware of me dealing with COVID-19 .I have sine tested negative and wanted a visit from a primary provider to address so additional concerns. She stated the paperwork was due a week in advance the appointment was not scheduled until Days before I arrived which I advised the receptionist I do it before my appointment time please don’t reach to any provider in this office they don’t take the oath as a health provider serious and to now have to go to emergency room at Broward Health and wait even longer with unbearable pain in my right ear and no sound ,can’t hear anything I have never been treated like this from any providers office please don’t take your love one here I left this office in tears. Absolutely incredible surgeon and amazing staff!!!! Dr. Ivo Pestana is one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is so kind, patient, understanding of your needs, and takes the time to sit down and listen to you (unlike many other doctors now-a-days just wanting your money). I would highly recommend this surgeon to anyone as he is incredibly knowledgeable and his staff (Nancy and team) is like no other. Will definitely be a life-long patient. Had Rhinoplasty surgery four years, and could not be more pleased. The staff and Dr. Pestana were more than pleasant and very knowledgeable. When I got my cast off, I would show up to his office, and the front office staff, would allow me to speak with Nancy and Dr. Pestana, without an appointment. Highly recommend this physician and office. I have sent five friends to have this procedure and everyone has been happy.

My wife had a breast reduction with Dr.Ivo Pestana. And she caught some type of infection. To which the doctor himself and his nurse Nancy stated, it was no infection it’s all in her head. But other doctors looked at it and treated her for the infection. Which caused her pain and lots of drainage from the infection. He wants to keep his post op reviews down. His bed side manners are horrible he promised my wife he would call and check her but NEVER did. Now we’re stuck treating the infection ourselves daily. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT go to this Dr. The office staff is extremely rude and not helpful. I've had problems with them since my first visit last year. Took them 6 months to process my claim, in which they were not to charge me for the visit because it was my annual. I requested my own bloodwork from them and they were extremely hesitant to give me a copy, and now I was billed for preventative care because the dr chose to take 15 minutes instead of 5 minutes with me. Which dr sees any patient for 5 minutes??? Isn't it normal to go over history and the process of what you are about to do to me??? These people are absolutely unprofessional and lack common sense. They do not deserve any insurance or out of pocket money from anyone! I've been twice and I've had horrible issues with both visits. Please find another dr. Do not waste your time or money!!! I am responding to your response to my review: You need to discuss with your staff how to treat patients and bill appropriately. I went back and forth with your staff for months regarding my first visit and there are to be no share costs for preventative care with my insurance. I have already spoken with my insurance company regarding this issue. Your staff said to me and I quote "The dr took 15 minutes with you instead of 5." Dr. Pestana has always taken his time with me and answered all my questions to make me feel comfortable. He did a great job with my surgery to give the best results possible. His staff is very friendly.

Everyone that works here is nice and friendly. I had a rhinoplasty and septoplasty done with Dr. ivo. Dr Ivo Pestana is an amazing doctor and checks in with you frequently to make sure everything is okay . He will make your nose look like a better version of itself .

Dr. Pestana is the nicest most kind Dr. ever. He removed a melanoma on my upper inside thigh. Amazing work and minimal scar. I was very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend his office.

Dr Pestana first did reconstruction surgery for my nose from a previous terrible surgery . Dr Pestana took so much time explaning every detail of what I needed and has the best bed sidemanner I’ve ever known. I was 47 at that time but never required any pain meds just some swelling. My recovery was far better than I expected and my nose was amazing ! About a year later I had a lower face lift with a chin implant and liposuction around my waist. Again the results were beautiful...Denise

Dr. I. Pestana helped me in deciding my next procedure and he is very understanding and caring and gentle.I trust him in his treatment of my situation and he explains every thing before he do it. I trust him and that is important and have confidence in his skills.

If that's how they treat me in the waiting room, I can only imagine how they operate when I'm knocked out on the surgery table. Never going back. Dr. Ivo Pestana and his assistant Nancy take the time to really listen to you. They help you figure out what you NEED, even if it means you shouldn't have a surgery right away. Most doctors out there just want your money, even if it is to the detriment of your health. He makes things very easy to understand, using common terms that make you get the picture. Hands down one of the best (if not THE best) plastic surgeons around.

I had a great experience with Doctor Pestana he was very professional. Dr. Pestana is very informative, thorough and knows exactly what the problem is. He treats his patient with so much love, respect and care. you are a great and friendly doctor. Very kind and trustworthy. My experience made me very comfortable I'm very happy with the results.

I had abdominoplasty several years ago, and was very disappointed with he and his assistant. Once they had our money they were less than cordial along with their bedside manner. The drainage tube got infected on one side, and was bleeding quite a bit. I also had a problem with the way he replaced my belly button and it jutted out. He said it was scar tissue, and that I had put weight on, which was not true. Very dissatisfied with his work, and would never recommend him.

I am grateful for having Dr. Pestana, Nancy and his staff there for me, when I needed it. They have been an invaluable support to me since the 1sr visit through all the process and follow ups. Helping me deciding for the right treatment, treating me like family, giving me the attention and care I needed. Nancy was there at my side during surgeries, gave me confidence that all was going to be fine. Dr. Pestana Professionalism, skills are superb.

Dr. Ivo is a very pleasant doctor and has the most amazing bedside manner, very calm and takes his time to explain your procedure and let you know what to expect, his staff is very helpful as well the PA Nancy is great explains things to you and very pleasant would definitely recommend this doctor.

The best doctors! Dr Tatiana, Ivo, Elsa, and the nurse Nancy, each of them care about their patients on a personal level, for me they are as part of my family. Excellent front staff, with good care and professionalism. . They've been my doctors for over 9 years and I've never had a complaint. This includes all the girls who have worked in the front office and others who are still working as Keyla the manager. Love them !

I cannot recommend Dr. Pestana. While he seemed pleasant enough, the staff in his office was horrible. Because they couldn't schedule me for more than a month because he was going on vacation (which was fine), they said I had to come back before the procedure for another consult (at a cost to me, of course). When I asked if I could get by w/out that because I just needed local anesthesia, they got furious that I would challenge their extra $$ and asked me to leave. Terrible experience.

He has the most wonderful bedside manner. He makes you feel very comfortable and feel genuinely cared for. I felt a trust in him the first time I came into his office. He did a wonderful job on my nose. I feel much more confident and can breathe correctly finally! He was recommended by two friends that are very happy with their results and I will continue to recommend him to my friends .

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2016. I decided to have a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I had surgery last week withDr.Pestana.Since the first visit I felt comfortable that my anxiety for the procedure alleviated. I really like the fact that he took his time to first listen and explain every questions and past medical history. That alone made at peace. His staff has the same goal. Dr.Ivo Pestana is a phenomanel doctor... I am so lucky to have found such a great doctor. He is the kind of surgeon that does what is good and great for your body. I was looking a plastic surgeon and I was afraid to look artificial on my rhinoplasty. But after I found him this fear was gone. He is such great doctor and my nose looks wonderful. I am looking forward for my next plastic surgery now :) Thanks Dr. Pestana for everything :)
