Dr. Philippe is very personable and makes you feel at ease in the office. My family and I were new to Castle Rock and looking for an eye doctor for our contact and glasses needs. We loved the small office feel of Dr. Philippe's practice. There was no long waits to get an appointment. All of the test were explained thoroughly in a way we could understand. I have worn glasses for the last 35 years and this was one of the best experiences I have had with an eye exam.

Ive been using Jay for as long as I can remember. He does an excellent job. Prices are more than fair and has a great selection of frames for when the time comes.

Great doctor..having been going to him for 20yrs...always takes all of the time necessary to make sure you are fitted correctly! Not like those big box stores or impersonal offices.

Dr. Philippe is affable, projects a neat & professional appearance. His methods are not contemporary, he used a ruler to measure some portion of my eye, he used my old prescription as his contact lens fitting, his office smells of mold, and all of the equipment I saw or interacted with appeared to be quite old. Results: lenses were scratched, ill-fitting in the frame, large gaps between the frame and lenses (which were chipped at the edges). I returned both contacts/glasses.
